Adobe Illustator, Adobe inDesign, Photoshop, and Flash MX are a few programs that can do vector-based drawings.
Don't use photoshop. It has only the most primitive of vector capabilities, and really doesn't do anything that can't be done with creative use of the selection tool. Flash MX would work fairly well, but is more for animating than simple image rendering. inDesign is a fully vector-based program designed for making magazine and newspaper layouts. The best choice for vector artwork is the one that's already been presented to you: Adobe Illustator. It has a wide variety of tools that all work entirely in vector-coding. It was designed for artist vector work, and produces wonderful results. cool |
