Welcome to Gaia! ::

o.o I would hate that to the point I wouldn't talk to them for a wile.

People reaching over me to poke my drawing and say I know who that is. I rarely draw fan art but it normally happens when I do.

People say I'm drawing porn. This is just for having a stupid person around me. I've had it happen when drawing girls in huge dresses all the time. wtf

When I tell someone my slots are full they say oh just do it when ever you have time.

I have slots for a reason. I won't do it at all.

o_O dam why do so many of you guys get bothered when people watch you draw? This may just be me, but the way I see it is that the only reason to be bothered by someone watching you draw is if you are embarrassed by what you are drawing. Which i guess I could understand if your doing something like hentai or something else equally lame.

............................................................................

      XCUSE ME.

I draw yaoi and it ain't lame. I demand apology NAO.

xD xD Nah, just joking. xD When I draw I always draw the naked body first before putting clothes... that's why I never really want people to look at me drawing. It's embarassing =.= You won't believe how many religious friends I have... and how faithful they are. Not to mention, parents.

My aunt once peeked into my sketch book and... her eyes grew bigger than volleyball. "You draw naked people???"

Busted. it wasn't even hardcore... I was always afraid to draw crotch area so... I mean, no genitalia and my aunt was ready to explode. People around me are just too religious it's boring.

............................................................................

Hmmm I dont know the religious friends you keep, but even though I am Christian myself I have no problem drawing the nude human form. There is a difference between nude art and porn. If shes grabbing/licking her boobs and spreading her legs, ya its porn. If you've got a nice artistic pose thats thoughtfull then I would call that art. Then again yaoi may not be my personal cuppa tea, but wutever.

I personally draw the muscle structure rather than a nude for males, which can be considered the same thing, but theres no p***s so all is good =D. For females I draw em naked first, but I dont define nipples oor the poon tang and I leave the muscle structure etched in. People have an easier time understanding you are doing a guideline rather than porn of you dont define uneccesary areas of sexuality such as nipples and crotch. In the end though, its what ever YOU want to do even if your religious friends may wince.

............................................................................

Actually I didn't draw anything perverted 0.0 I don't like drawing nipples... and well, it was just a sketch. Naked female in boring pose.. no nipples, no pubic hair and no sexy pose. Back in the day when I still lived with my parents, I really didn't dare to reference nude photos... I'm just too ashamed. My sketches... They're just as boring as ever. Kind of expressionless too.

Honestly I was quite surprised, I think my aunt overreacted. But well... After that, I feel like not showing my incomplete sketch to nobody and... obviously don't stare at me while drawing. ARF. Yez I draw naked people you got problems? ARF!

when i can't make my eyes symmetrical for anything >.>
and when people critique if i didn't ask for it.

I usually get nervous when someone is watching me while I draw. It sometimes annoys me when someone corrects me like "i think the nose should be shorter" "you should shade here" or something like that.

I say this because I care...

when people who are not very good make small children feel bad with the "it looks wierd" or "it's not right" >_<; they should be more constructive or at least less of a butt...

Breaking my pencil lead.
Anyone touching the drawing paper (it leaves oil in it from their fingers)
Peple who treat my art materials like they're just toys (like the knead eraser)

If that's the case then I have absolutely NO IDEA why they are trippin. Sounds rather immature that they go "OMG YOU DRAW DEM NAYKID!!! UR EVIL!". For all my non artistic friends I just explain what Im doing, if they dont get it the first time then I stop bothering, just a waste of your time. I've only gotton the "Why is he naked" comment from my sister, and she didnt say it with disgust, just out of curiosity and once I explained my style she goes "oooooooooooohhh" and ended the subject.
Bein' watched while drawin'. Not cause ah'm embarrassed, more like...it's a weight on mah shoulders, n' pressure. Don't like it, not one bit. Plus, sometimes ah dun want people to see things until they're done, have practically ripped heads off for peekin' at mah work without permission or invitation.
I hate when people say a lot of bad things about your drawing, but nothing positive. I don't mind people watching me draw as long as they don't point s**t out, because it takes time to perfect everything and I have a really good track record.
When people are watching me and im in the middle of drawing, and they will say, "Wheres the arm?" or some thing like that. IM NOT FRIGGEN DONE YET!!!!
When people look over my shoulder. I hate that!
When my mother shows off my work and I hate it! they are mainly for my eyes and my eyes only.
And the one you mentioned....correcting it. And art teacher wanted to do that and totally ruined the eyes of a portrait i was doing...she sloppily sketched in things with a black color pencil and i hated her for that! scream I heard she did that to everyone all the time though....but she only did it to me once.

when i cant make things symetrical
When people say "Adobe" or "Corel" when they mean "Adobe Photoshop" or "Corel Painter."

IT DRIVES ME UP THE WALL. Don't just say Adobe; that company has made more than one graphics program (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc for Adobe; Painter, PSP, Draw, etc. for Corel). You don't say "Microsoft" when you mean Microsoft Word!!!!!! gonk scream burning_eyes

Being asked for free art when they know I make a living out of my art. What makes them think I have time to make them art?

Or when you DO make something and they say they want something else. Excuse me b***h, I took the ******** time to make you something, you can at least say thank you.

People watching me doesn't bother me that much, if they starts to ask questions like "what's that? What does that line mean, can you draw a dog?" THEN I get annoyed.

People who start a huge dramafest when I critique them. BAWWWing that it's their style and I should shut up and don't know anything and is just jealous. Yeah........ jealous.

I hate when people touch my paper, it greases it up... or when they ******** touch your work at all. I had one of my pages for a comic destroyed because people were looking at it and then spilled coffee on it. I was ******** furious. it was at least a day's worth of work on that page alone. AND it was inked!

The comic-art community here in sweden... it's small and mostly (not all of course) full of dicks and cunts with a waaaaay to inflated ego for their own good.
