Has one of the things very common in your art been listed? (Not that it's important for you to care...)

Yes. I think I might change some things... 0.12666666666667 12.7% [ 19 ]

I hate when people think that if I draw something and I draw n***s (or they found my erotica even), they think I'll draw both; i.e. someone asked for pron of my werewolf, who is a very shaggy humanoid, and someone even wanted to know what my 'mermaid' was like naked (my mermaid being from the mythology where mermaids are hideous women who drag men to their death and drown them and use them to procreate before killing them).

And since you brought it up... I can't stop thinking what it would look like with a werewolf and a mermaid getting it on.
There was this drawing I loved in a book then a thousand other artists had it in their book just slightly changed....that made me furious that people no longer have their own ideas =[
When people draw see-through hair. Like, they draw the eyes through the bangs. And then outline it with a thick pen or something.

I hate the big boob craze. Then I got a commish request asking me to do it... Whatever, I get gold XD.

I hate beginners who think they're good. Or think they know something TT.

I hate stuck-up artists who are older than you. I understand the different between helping and patronizing TT, though they appear not to.

I like fanart, it's nice break every once and a while, but I hate obsessive endless fanart,

arrgh! i hate it when all people draw is fanart!!! i mean, it's okay if they draw it in their own style and don't eyeball it, but those beginners who eyeball all their work, arrrgh it makes me wanna barf!
I hate it when people are all like "omg ur so awum" and it sucks a**...
while looking through this forum, this reminds me:
during 2001 or 2000, somewhere around those two years,
i remember being registered (and active) in either mediaminer or fanart central (is it still up~?).

there was this very very cocky artist named ariel (or something close to that name; not sure if he's still there) that copied all his work off cel-shades & so are his colored works and he BOASTS about them like he actually thought and drew the composition himself.

what's worst is that he has a billion people looking up to him when all i see if a con artist getting un-needed fame off things he didn't do, just things he copied. his lines are not of worshippable quality either~
he also makes fun of other artists (who are much better then him) and puts them down. argh~

those type of artists make me mad and so do the ones that (as previously mentioned) draw transparent hair AND the ones that keep drawing the dragonball Z (GT, whatever) style, just because it's a popular anime.

>: i have too much hate >w< <3
when people on deviantart post yaoi and yuri, and don't put freeking Mature content on it. There's a reason that option is aviailble.

First off... I don't think that's an art trend.

Second, the option is for adult-oriented works, or nudity, or just things kids generally shouldn't look at. If by yaoi or yuri, you mean sexually excplicit pictures, then yes, I hate it when they don't put mature filters on it also, but I don't believe boy-love/girl-love pictures are required to post under mature content. However some artists try to avoid immature flames by putting warning previews on them, but that's beside the point. XP

I like art with big squishy boobs, as long as they ARE squishy, not round and plasticy, and gravity is applied. However inflation really rubs me the wrong way, I don't know if it's trend exactly, but... Eh.

I also dislike it when an artist uses another person's style. Like, I saw this girl on DA who draws exactly like the disney style, and fanarts disney characters constantly. And of course he/she is popular as hell for it.

Is eyes-showing-over-the-hair really trend? Some artists pull it off to look rather nice, and in anime hair/bangs tend to be really big and cover the eyes, if seen from certain angles. Often it just looks better; albiet rather unrealistic; if you can see the eyes.

But that's my opinion. I personally don't draw like that, but I thought it looked cool in some cases.

big boobs, panty shots, cleavage, lingerie/undies showin... = fanservice ^_^
I could name a fair few artists who are hero worshipped with no good reason... sweatdrop
Not sure how trendy these are.

1. I have seen some really well done fan art. What I don't like is that many people don't realize that fanart can (and in my opinion should) be in the artists own style. If you carry the major features and characteristics that make that character what he/she/it is, people will know who it is. Hell, I'd be more impressed that I know who it is and your style is nothing like the original artist's own.

2. I don't like that people piss on cartooning because they are tired of seeing anime. (In many many cases, the artists' style isn't what is defined as anime anyway.) Many of these people will also assume that because an artist chooses to work in a highly stylized fashion, that he or she can't do anything else. Good cartooning comes from a knowledge of real life and simplifying it to get the message out clearly in a more iconic fashion. Some people can do get the same [removed](and make it quite interesting) with a couple of lines as someone who can paint a photoreal painting. Cartooning still takes skill, design knowhow, creativity, and planning.

3. This really irks me.
Assuming that digitally coloring your art will make it any better and/or thinking that it covers up the weak areas of the image. We can still see all the problems. In technicolor.

4. Futa. I find transexuals to be a beautiful illustration of mankind's ability to shape his/her own fate, regardless of the circumstances. I also have a lot of pictures of transexal women who have kept their penises. So, it's not that I have any issues with gender bending, but there's this trend in certain communities I'm a part of where every chic must have a p***s. And I'm not talking about a women who was born biologically male. I'm talking about biological women with vaginas that magically sprout penises at will. And use them to rape other chics. (I have yet to see a dude sprout a v****a, though, I have noticed that a lot of the yaoi artists like to make the poor guys with self lubricating asses, which can't be comfortable). Tt just rubs me the wrong way.

5. Rape porn in general. This just makes me sad because it's often made sparkly and romantic, with postures that indicate intimacy and not what it really is. Abuse. The 'vicitm' never fights and she's usually a chic with huge saucer eyes pooling with light and a single tear running down her cheek. Petals flowing in the background. And underaged looking. Sometimes, I see them and silently hope the artist is gang raped and THEN beaten beyond recognition. They can draw another picture and we'll see just how sparkly it is then.
