Lianuu
Nikon D60 for photography and borrowed Canon TI for film stuff.
For finished 'studio' pieces I usually use acrylic but plan in pencil and coloured pencils. Sometimes I dabble in watercolours or charchol.
I hate pastels though. Hate hate hate hate.

I hate them too. mad Oil pastels are so sticky and are like expensive stupid mushy clay and the penicl pastel get everywhere and all they do it smudge. I hate them too.

The mediums that I really don't like are by far markers and drawing on photoshop. I agree with the person who said that she likes to be able to actually touch the drawing. I'm also not that fond of Ink or paint, but I can tolerate it if I'm finishing a piece or painting one of my ceramics.

As for my favorite mediums... I dabble in just about everything from ceramics to photography to traditional drawing to pixel art. But I think I like drawing with pencil the best, I like being able to erase my mistakes.

biggrin Finally someone who understands!
I have some serious love for Photoshop art.

Oh and oil painting...but all of my oil paintings are abstract.

I should totally scan those. >.>
I usually use mechanical pencils or pens ('cause pens look great on paper!). COlored pencils are alright but when it comes to sculpting I can't make a thing. xd
I used to loath and despise charcoal, but after taking a drawing class I've come to enjoy it. My favorite so far is the watercolor pencils. It's fun to see how the colors combine once the water dissolves them. I think the pencils make the watercolor much more manageable for me. I don't get so easily frustrated like when I would use watercolor paint. Now as far as painting is concerned, I HATE it! Not paintings themselves obviously, but using it. I suck using paint........so I refuse to use it.
XD I try to use anything I can...considering I'm trying to build up my portfolio for applying to an art college and they love having pieces of different mediums to see how you can manipulate things...but. I love pen/ink, charcoal [black and white], pastels, and paint. Right now, I'm trying to mix found objects in the paint such as beads and such to give it texture in abstraction. :] What I really hate is...I don't know what I hate. XD I love every medium, I think. Including expanding the meaning of "art" to fashion and music and theatre.
i love using pastals it just gives your picture a purpose well i guess that is just me but it does like if u draw a sun set it shows u more color and i think it just makes it beautiful!!!!!!
I use Mechanical pencils with blue lead, copic multiliner SPs, and copic sketch markers usually.

Digitally I use Painter 11 and Manga Studio 4 mostly with a Wacom bamboo medium

I'm trying to learn to use a G-pen properly but I'm still garbage at it.

I absolutely hate painting. I'm terrible at it sad
I use 0.7 mechanical pencils, eraser, paper (duh), and when I'm done with my drawing I sometimes ink it out with a black sharpie pen.
mechanical pencils .7 .5 i'd like to try .9 and .3 I also like prisma. I want to get better at painting I don't like chalk pastels...messy...
I like using pencils and pens, I also like using paint. But it just never turn out the way I want it to. >.<
&& Crayons suck. They leaves behind too much wax, and mess up easily.
