Try using a wooden model --- that reeeally helps! It helps when you first draw the body to get the shape. Look at pictures of people + anime/manga and note the differences. You'll get there, just keep practicing XDDDD |

i draw eyes as 2 lines, one on the top and one on the bottom, make a circle in between them and fill with details, pointy little noses that look like an upside-down 7, and expressive mouths.
