1/6 scale makes me feel fat! (sculpting barbie size)

im making a ball jointed doll and i wanted it to look realistic, so im using my measurements in 1/6 scale to sculpt it. i have a doll im looking at and i look extremely big! gonk

i dont know... are there any realistic 1/6 scale dolls that look like mine, or is this just a big fail?

Dolls tend to be thin and ethereal rather than realistic, but its an interesting concept to make a doll more realistic. I've seen realistically proportioned cloth dolls, but not BJDs.

i wonder if anyone ever sculpted an actual model down to scale, that would be great inspiration

Man, g'luck, I would think that 1/6 scale would be way too small to get realistic details but if you can manage to get her look great then CONGRATS!!
