guess it depends on what symbolism you're going for. I like mine as kinda a forced fallen angel thing. Something so good, trapped by evil. And nobody helps because who guards the guardians?

I like to pretend the chain things are connecting my wrists to my books. ^^ Because I love my books. I can change which ones they are every time I get a new one, though.

Celsius: Yeah, at first I thought the chains were too bondage-ish. But I haven't seen a lot of people wearing the in a bondage style.

Nightmare is wearing them as a symbolic gesture to match her avatars look. And that's pretty cool!

I wouldn't wear them to be emo or pity-party-ish but goth or symbolic works OK.

Ooo, and yeah, it really depends how you use the chains. They work really well with nightmare's look and aren't bondage-y. I didn't get them cus I didn't really have a look they would work with. I think the Tails and Robe are really awesome!
