Would be better...if I wasn't occupied with voice acting auditions for Predator Turned Prey. Frankly...I don't think a woman should be Hunter...;> . > It's....wierd.

I don't care what gender does what character, really. Since Hunter is 13, it is possible a woman might be able to play him, but I must say I would prefer a male to voice him because Hunter sings, growls, roars... does a lot of stuff and it might be hard for a girl to keep her voice consistent and sounding male during all of that. HOWEVER, we might do some flashes for when he's younger and growing up, and I imagine a female could easily voice that. In many anime's and animations woman voice young males, but in the end it all depends on how the person sounds.

Hunter's actor is going to have the hardest time! *LAUGHS* That person has the most lines, a wide range of emotions, they also have to work with actual jaguar recordings I have. They HAVE to be able to roll their r's, snarl and sing! Also, they will be asked to do the most. Recordings for me to bring to book signings, put on the site, all of that! They have to know the book extremely well and they have to present themselves as a professional. If I cast someone as Hunter, no matter how perfect they are, if I find them insulting the novel, idea, their job, or any other voice actor, they will lose their job. Hunter represents the entire story, so the voice actor representing Hunter must fit. For the Anti-Slavery section I am building, we plan on having animations of Hunter speaking. The voice actor is going to have to be able to represent the proper emotions for that... I believe in the time when stars had to behave or they were fired.

Whoever voices as Hunter is going to be busy, and because of this will undoubtedly get the most public response. They will have to work personally with me a LOT, they will have to know a lot of the human trafficking information... it's a lot of stuff!

James, too, will have a tough time... XD

Right now, I'm voicing Matsi... but I doubt it'll hold for long, I'd rather get someone else to. RasereiHojo is voicing Mira...

Well...my voice isn't all that great, but I'm willing to at least audition. For any part. x - x;; I don't think I'll fit any part, but when I get my book back....if I ever get my book back ( D= ) I'll read lines for each character and get my dad to record it for me. He has AWESOME sound equipment. Unfortunately, none of us use it. sweatdrop

But yeah...I could convince my friends to audition, too, if you'd like more options. xd

Oh, and I agree. The women who have auditioned for Hunter, however, don't seem to fit him very well. =S And I don't know if they understand how hard it is to fill his role.

Well, we need a lot of characters smile On my forum I have a list of lines for people to use while auditioning.

Yeah, a lot of people want to be Hunter simply because he is the lead, but... there are so many characters they seem to miss!

*nods* It's really sad, really. I've discovered that I'd MUCH rather be a side-character than a main character in a book. o - o;; Because my favorite characters are usually not the lead. I do like Hunter and all, but I really like Mira the best for some reason.
