Ah, no, that's after financial aid. The original tuition is $40k a year, but the admissions officer told me I would get enough aid from them to make it $15k a year - and that is aid from the school alone.
The economic crisis is unfortunate, especially when you're looking for employment. D: As for a career....just do what you like to do!
xp That's how I feel about it. Then again, I like to do pretty much everything. However, in most cases, you should be able to make a career out of at least one hobby you have. For example, drawing could be a career. You could try taking one of those "What career is the right one for you?" quizzes that are floating around everywhere.
Yeah, that's a heck lot. If I were to go there for my undergrad, no doubt it would've been at least 60k. I have considered art as a career but knowing myself best, I can't make art a 'job.' I just can't. I like to do it because want to, not because I have to. *shrugs* What I REALLY want is to make a living as an author but as that still isn't realistic enough, writing will just be my side job. What I would REALLY enjoy doing, however, is analyzing. Not numbers, but social trends, patterns and the like. Not sure what kind of job that would be though. I have considered think tanks but I'm not even sure how I would get my foot in the door
xp .
