PRE REG, GOOD GOD PRE REG! th past years lines for regristraion at the doorhave gotten crazy! one year thouh pre-reg out numbered the at the door and that was bullshit to have to wait through. we waited in line for 4 hours.

like the trip to the hotel, who might be coming with you, those people coming with you to pay part of the room and there passes, how are they getting there, how many days you want to stay at the hotel ( I always suggest getting hotels unless the hotel is a 5 minute drive from where you live!). bringing food and such as ramen, water, a cooler, soda, bread of some sort and maybe PB&J, cookies, donuts, chips.
medical supplies, a cosplay outfit if you have one( I see cosplaying itself as fun, and don't care if someone buy's there outfit or makes it, it's up to the wearer, but other's are a**l about things like that) a sewing kit if your costume tears or stuff to fix it with, a bag for carrying around essentials like cellphone, stuff you might buy in the dealers room or artist alley, room keys, maps, the program and the such, and I always have about 200$'s in cash when I go since it can be a hassle to bring a credit//debit card, and money at ATM's vanish fast!

that's the basics for me

I say try to make a deal with your mother, like if your grades are good, and you get a honors mark or something with school ask to go to the next con as a reward. it's like a mini vacation with the stress of geeking out with it. and having your mother sit in the room watching TV and chilling is fun! my nurse's daugher loves anime ( she's still new at it since she's younger than me and it was her 2nd time at a convention) and the nurse just sat in the hotel relaxing and eating things her daughter bought her in the dealers room and enjoying the culture with her daughter.

if your mothers a**l about it, then just come down to texas then when your older

A-kon is funish, and big and your never bored. I suggest bringing someone along with you, you know and care for for any trip, traveing on a plane alone can be scary! ; 3 ;

but in a way you feel more like a adult.

but if your traveling by plane, you can't bring that much food nor any liquids that can be consumed or be a hazard. T ^T



and that info is just what I do before cons

like the week before we leave I get the food and things ready, make sure to have cups, bowls, forks, spoons and napkins with you. having ramen with no forks or even a cup can suck!

and coffee filter's help too. especially if someone in the room drinks coffee and the coffee maker is what's used to cook the ramen.
