I love the rich painted feel of this, and the balance of warm and cool tones. The sky is amazing, and the feeling of movement is a lot of fun too, and I appreciate that the artist took an avatar I had and went crazy with it, while sticking to the theme. I also love that the CG painting stands on its own, without relying heavily on filters and effects.

Toto's attention to detail here flabbergasted me. She's successfully reproduced one of my most ornate kimono, down to the smallest leaf and petal. The obi's also incredibly detailed, despite being mostly hidden. It doesn't hurt that this kimono is one of my most sentimentally important, but she didn't know it at the time wink

Fabulous attention to detail adds a rich, lush feel, which to me is even sexier. Like great French lace lingerie wink

I love the soft curls of hair here, as well as the beautiful snowflake earring. I'd have loved to see a bust or full-body shot, but this interesting profile portrait is gorgeous and definitely stands on its own as one of the prettiest, most gentle, most lovely pieces of avatar art I've got.
