I know... She had three regular M/W classes, three T/TR classes, one online class and then a Friday class... But... She also doesn't have to work either... Her parents own one of the really successful restaurants here in town, so she had the time to take on that much without doing anything else... 2 of the classes were art classes and one of them was another elective though.

She still doesn't know what she's going to school for. rolleyes

Well you know what... At least I'm doing something I love... And I think that it's at least better than being stuck in some gd cubicle all day, working a dead end job, where everyone is buisenss clones. and SO WHAT if I want to be a teach?

My mother was a teacher, and we did fine.

blu: well i have like, 63k in loans. private catholic university: good education, but financially not the best plan. youll be a lot better off then i am. im not even sure what i wanna do anymore

and i need to get up in the morning to do housework so my mother stays off my back. night all

You shouldn't have to leave, and yes, I'm a little miffed over the comment,...sorry... but really, money isn't as much of an issue to me, I don't want a job where I'm doing something I hate just because it pays more.... My mom was a teacher, and we got by just fine... I know she loved her job...

But I love kids, and I love art... I have had so many great teachers, they're what I want to be. It might not pay as much in the end, but I know, that if I can teach at least a few kids to love art, they way I was taught, then it's worth it.

You shouldn't leave, but I really do think teaching is an under appreciated job, but still... It's what I want to do. I know I'll get by in the end.

Wow... that's insane... I went to a Private Catholic University up through 4th grade... I know the tuition for that was pretty pricey then... 63K in loans... I'm glad I'm not that far in dept.

meh my friends told me I should try to explain even if it doesn't make sense. But I do want to make it right so I can be not scared everytime I see you. Yes I have issues I know thanks for noticing.

meh I offended a friend, well acquaintance I guess. She's going to college for her education degree so she can teach high school or middle school art. I was surprised to learn that you have to have a degree to do that. I made a comment about her not getting her money's worth doing that but that's not what I meant to say but it's how it came out instead of how it sounded in my head. So now she thinks I'm ragging on her for wanting to be a teacher when that wasn't it at all. Just my head jumped ahead after thinking about how my thoughts to be an art teacher was just shattered if they need a degree to do so; all the way out of the ball park to how many years it'd take to pay off the loan on the wages the teachers here get paid. But now I'm too embarrassed to tell her this and I'm sure she won't take this right either since she doesn't know me nor how often my brain jumbles up and I say the last thing on my mind instead of the thoughts I intended to share.

Thank you... for letting me know that. And I'm sorry for taking it the wrong way. I really appreciating the explanation... And yeah, I know a lot of people would put me down for wanting to be a teacher, because of the pay (my father is one of them) which is why I sort of blew it out of proportion with that last comment...

But yeah, I think it's cool that you would consider being an art teacher as well. *hugs*

But hey, the loans aren't that bad actually... The school I go to is one of the top ten in affordability in the country... I'm not worried about it, but thank you for worrying on my behalf.
