There was this one artist I found a few weeks ago that was auctioning off her slots for 2mil on average. And that wasn't even what the artwork would cost, just the slot so you could try and buy some. Her artwork was amazing no doubt, stuff that should be hung in museums and such, but 2mil a slot? What kind of life have you got that you can afford 2 mil gaia gold, plus another 4mil+ for a single piece of artwork?*is actually quite envious of that kind of life* stare

I cant understand how people can pay that much no matter how good it is...

When it comes to art, I draw the line at least to 100k depending on the size, quality and etc.
But spending millions x.o heh... I find it INSANE.

It's terrible, isn't it? But the person was good, and how often do you come across someone willing to draw you a magnificent piece for virtual currency?

It's still terrible though. My question is why isn't she out making people pay her real money. She could make hundreds off a single piece, no problem.

Now you see, you klingeth could get away with that price because you are very good artist. I've never made it to 10k personally. I've been bribed with a 9k monthly collectible once before for a fullbody, and that was it. I'm not willing to take much more than 9k for my art yet anyways. I'm not foolish enough to overprice blatantly novice work, and I'd feel guilty for taking too much money for something I spend two, three hours on at the most. What i lack in skills I make up for with speed. sweatdrop

I've never spent more than 60k, and that was a stretch, let me tell you, but thats because I look for overall fantastic artists. I do do alot of shopping around for the artists I want to work with, meaning price, shot, meduim, style etc. I figure if I'm going to go out and specifically find and commission an artist, I have a right to be picky. Plus I was raised a bargain hunter so I usually look in shops that are just starting up since their prices are almost always reasonable. 3nodding
