For a person with such fabulous prizes, makes me wonder why you're half naked. -_-;

You mean aside from the headphones, miniwings, and bunny slippers? All of which are multi-million gold items? xd Well, none of the shirts/pants/skirts Gaia has really appeal to me. They don't give me a sense of me when I put them on my avi. I think this is a cute outfit, so I stick with it. Sometimes I put on my disco outfit or a more formal dress for special occasions, but I always find myself coming back to this one. Trust me, I've been around long enough to collect plenty of valuable items...I just get sick of most of my outfits quickly. Whaddya want, a screencap of my inventory? References? Just ask and I'll get 'em for ya. wink

I don't know what most items look like since Im on the forums most of the time. I need some convincing to submit to your contest. ^^;

Slightly Eccentric - Well, for the pendant to glow in the dark she would have had to have it...they moved in before her mother gave it to her. But her mom could have cast some minor magic. Everything else is correct - She could have tried to move the debris. Varric wouldn't know her, although she would seem familiar. And she wouldn't recognize him as her brother even if she did meet him (as she eventually does) because of the changes from the fire. Rhysta doesn't know what the pendant does until her mentor tells her about it, which is when she finds out about that dark elf. His name is Cirrav, by the way. I can't tell you how the fire started without ruining part of the plot, but a mysterious shadow/figure works fine. The person reporting to her superiors would be a female dark elf, and she believes that Rhysta is the only one who escaped (and thus is the last of the bloodline).

I think I should probably post these details on Rhysta's bio so everyone can see them. That should keep confusion to a minimum. ^^ The story can be as long as you want. I don't have a size limit for the short story - I assume no one is going to write the novel for me, so any prose story should count.

Well, PMs have a length limit. Your best bet is probably to email me the file as an attachment (make sure you tell me your Gaia name in the email) or to upload it somewhere and post a link. I can take Word documents, HTML, Adobe, and rtf. I'll put my email address up on the front page.

No! surprised I would never void a contest entry unless it was stolen.

I'll be pretty lenient on the writing rule, since I'm not able to publicize the contest as well to writers. If a writing prize gets dropped because there are not enough entries, it will be the SMALLEST prize, and I will probably divide it up to give several smaller prizes to those writers who actually took the time to enter. I definately intend to give out all the money one way or the other. The Best written piece prize will be given out no matter what.

And if your looking for some spiffing writers, alot of them are just out of the Kamiki and Sabin contest 3nodding Great writers and people that really create the sorta friendly atmosphere you'd want in your contest thread 3nodding
Thought I'm not too sure how you'd get to them, if anything I'm sure they're still farting arund the original contest thread, since its over there should be no problem in posting it there 3nodding
Or....have a banner that says it's an Art/Writing contest, I notice it says itin your siggie, but for other people linking/advertising fo ryou, your current banners only read art contest sweatdrop And there are probably alot of writers out there (like me) lurking the art contest threads looking for a decent writing contest (cuz sadly all the decent writing contests are in the art contest threads xd )
