The way my gold gain goes every two hours is 25-20-15-10-5-3-3-3-etc...
That's because I've got nearly two full years and over 15k in posts. ^-^

I believe the gold gain for you two is 25-20-15-10-5-3-3-3-1-1-1-etc... for every 3-4hrs. (A post is calculated by first the posting screen ("submit" button = roughly 1/2 to 2/3's the full amount from a post) and then the wait while loading your post screen (Which is the last 1/2 to 1/3).
