Comments: A continuation of the picture of Phoenix dying. This is her being resurrected from her ashes. All glowy, and bright, as for I believe Phoenix doesn't have to worry any longer about pain and the worry of dying any longer.

She isn't a literal phoenix, though I suppose it could just be placed under symbolism...?

It's good to see you back! Why the gonking though? D:

The symbolism is quite appropriate. To be honest, back when I first came up with her name, I wasn't even thinking about how the mythical bird ties into her story beyond her hair color and SUPAH POWAH, but as I came to understand her better, I realize more and more that it fits her so perfectly. Metaphorically speaking, throughout the plot she's trying to burn herself down so she can be born again.

(might want to put a little warning about nudity, BTW.)

There is a way for writers to participate too, if you're into writing! But to be honest, I think writers have it harder for this contest. I find it more difficult to write someone else's characters than to draw them. (Or is it because I suck at writing? xd )
