keiiii
OoT is the one that had me really immersed, but I have to admit subsequent Zelda games have surpassed it in quite a few aspects, objectively speaking. Each game had its strong points and favorite memories. It's much easier to list favorite things about each title!
OoT - overall experience, Nintendo's amazing ability to use 3-Dness to their advantage and really incorporate it into the gameplay. OoT came out back when 3D was new, so this is pretty significant.
MM - story and atmosphere. It kind of felt out of place considering the rest of the series... like a side story? But it was nice nonetheless. 3nodding
TP - I loved Midna and the 3Dness of the sky temple after you get the hookshot upgrade. It was hell on me, actually, because of my lack of spacial intelligence, but I was just so impressed with it. I also loved the part where Link walks into the moblin town and a very Western battle ensues. XD
SS - the presentation of the world, graphically and musically. And not just because it had the most advanced (? kind of debatable with TP) graphics. And the Lanayru MF might be my favorite dungeon in the entire series.
: SS could have been my favorite if it weren't so linear. I don't necessarily hate linear gameplay, but the one thing I have loved about Zelda games is the exploration; linearity and exploration kind of cancel each other out.
I'm missing out a big time on the handheld titles, aren't I D:

Yeah, I know what you mean about OoT.
I loved it when it first came out and I loved replaying it.
I actually still want to get it for my 3Ds.
*lol* I loved the shoot-out.
My kids loved watching Link ride the spinner.
After playing through all the other games I don't evern remember that dungeon. ^^;
I do love the Zelda music for sure.
I'm missing out on the handheld titles too.
I have added the DS ones to my amazon wishlist now that I have a 3DS though. whee
