I cannot tell you how excited I am about this pic! The more you talk about it, the more I want to see the end result. One question, what is it that Fox is holding in his hand? Not the lamppost, the other hand?
It's the pouches that are typically strapped in with his belt through them (in the ref sheet), that usually hang down across his waist. I thought since it was raining, they would get kinda heavy with water, so I thought it might add to his casual attitude about it to have the pouches in his hand instead of strapped in. Kinda the 'jacket over the shoulder' type pose
I did have a couple questions though. I imagine this kinda in a town/city type area, like near the end of a marketplace, where there are still sidewalks (maybe not as well kept), the lamp post, and in the background you can see some silhouettes of buildings, and the road. You describe the setting as almost pre-industrial with transportation. Do you see that as cobblestone roads[sort of like this
,]http://browse.deviantart.com/?qh=§ion=&q=horses+streets#/d1h7dkf], or dirt? (specifically, in an area with lower traffic. Since Rori and Fox are trying to stay in the shadows?)
Also, do you have any description of buildings? Homes have the 'tree' in the middle, but do shops, and other buildings have that plant/structure relationship as well?
