Sam, thanks once again! I'm really glad you liked my historical Akella piece. heart I really enjoyed drawing her! I just apologize that I wasn't able to finish coloring it (actually I did start to color it but decided not to so the Victorian etching feel of the piece wouldn't change)..

I actually liked Miss Gizmo's Akella entry more than her one of Sabin - I was hoping to see it win something. The composition and lighting are so unusual and striking, and it's so nice to see a non-conventionally-pretty picture win something in contests because often light and airy pieces get favoured over moody, engaging ones like that.

Holy jesus an 03 item. A couple months ago I gave up on ever succeeding at any quests on those after spending six years here failing at them. I didn't even notice what the prize was until after my heart stopped beating doubletime, then I nearly died of shock again.

the fact that entries are judged beyond the gaia-generic anime shinies a lot of art contests are is one of the main reasons why I am very willing to enter contests like these. (:

This contest was truly epic, and I am really glad to have participated in it. this contest was actually my last one before taking a really long break, and I'll be remembering it for a while. I think everyone's entries were awesome, and so I believe that everyone deserves a nice congratulation!

Congrats to everyone who won, there was so much gorgeous art! It was a feast for the eyes to get to go through and see all the winning entries. The written entries were equally wonderful and well crafted!

Thank you to Sam and Sabin for hosting such a wonderful contest! I only wish I had found it sooner, as I have said about a dozen times. I am glad you both liked my chibi entries so much, as well as my Angelina/Ambrose piece, it was a pleasure to draw your characters, they had a lot of personality to work with! So thank you again!
