The situation is portrayed very well with a beautiful background and a stylized use of color. I'm amazed by the amount of detail in this as well, from the shoes next to her bag and the bushes far away. WINNER! >w< Comments from anime_hunter: Uwah. I think that the interaction is gorgeous! I truly do. I mean, look. There’s a cellphone on the ground and it’s probably from Kazuki cussing out on her or something. She’s obviously crushed by this and Masao comes right away to her aid. I think their roles are drawn out very well in this piece, and the background is a beautiful addition to the overall composition. Great work!! >w< Comments from anime_hunter: I like this one a lot. Not only is Masao seemingly protecting her, but Emi looks like a rich lady which pretty much fit’s the description. She looks pure (( even though she really isn’t )) and he fits his role perfectly. Beautiful textures and coloring as well! *w* Comments from anime_hunter: WOW. Another perfect one? Oh my, oh dear! The interaction is nice. Emi disregards Masao’s little presentation but that doesn’t mean she dislikes his touch as she blushes. The lines are sketchy, but that is nothing compared to her textures with different brushes with Emi’s hair and Masao’s shirt. Also, to be able to have a hand reaching out with perfect proportions, it’s simply amazing. -- 4th place: #33 by angelwing871 (dA) [LINK] PRIZE: Bust-up sketch or 50k Comments from me: I really like the poses for these two--somewhat solemn, without being overly mushy. I think the artist did a wonderful job with their expressions, and the entire piece flows together very well. Great work!! >w< Comments from anime_hunter: Wow. Water paints? That’s amazing! Especially since it’s so risky with what you could screw up. Like dropping a coloured drop on the wrong spot or making it too wet. I love the use of textures and color to create the distinctive mood for the piece. It's beautiful! <33 Comments from anime_hunter: I really like this piece. I am touched by the effort and dedication in this piece, and would regret to see it go without winning anything. The artist captured the personalities and situations of the characters superbly, without resorting to the typical 2D portrayal I often see. This gives Emi and Masao the depth that most fanart of them lack--huge kudos to that. Amazing work!! Comments from anime_hunter: This one. . .is actually the one I think should win hands down. Even though some angles are off and some parts are big for proportions, the effort placed onto it is flabbergasting. I think the artist captured their character really well from Emi’s anger to her pain and Masao’s insight to this. Really. This won me over, and it’s basically 3 submissions for one.
