When meeting singles online was just starting to boom (1997), I "met" a girl from Wellington, and we met in person half a year later when she happened to be flying into town (Los Angeles) one summer. Ahh, those were some fun times!

I even scored a hug and a kiss on the cheek! Made my year! Of course, we didn't pursue anything since we just lived so far apart, but it was nice to have that little summer together. I should've nabbed a kiss on the lips though now that I think about it, but I wasn't brave back then in college.

LOL, I'm taking Lvl 1 NCEA Art this year too, I should have worked on my assignment these holidays, but somehow the whole fact that the subject is on Maori stuff just doesn't get my attention, even though it's worth 3 credits... crying I think I'll just give up on this assignment, cause it's really bugging me.

yeah I'm in level 1 too, but I've already gotten 74 level 1 credits form multi-leveling in year 10 and liek 4 level 2 credits xD
I'm doing level 2 maths this year though, and I'm sooo stressed, lol + extension science, thank goodness I didn't take those level 2 history, art and graphics classes I was offered, I would be dead by now.
I mean level 1 art, we don't have it on Maori culture...we have it on flight and fight, aviation is our subject, I can't stand it, its horrid *cries*

Wow, you've already got a LOT of credits... I'd probably had gotten a few credits last year if I hadn't gone to study in Korea for one year (yes, I'm the absolute opposite of New Zealand's international students, I'm Korean yet I got to Korea for one year to "experience" the schooling and culture of my home country.) And my family moved to the North Shore while I was away, so I had to transfer from Lynfield to Rangitoto. sweatdrop One really memorable thing from my first day at Rangi is I misread the timetable so I accidentally went to a Year 12 Maths class instead of English. xd

And WOW, you're smart! I could have taken Maths Extension and Sci Ex, but I just couldn't be bothered. When I was choosing my subjects I said to my dean that I like science and all, but I don't really imagine myself going that way in the future. And my Japanese teacher said she'll try to talk to the Head of Lang to see if I can take Level 3 Jap next year. I might take Calculus too... But I'm definately going to take Design instead of Art next year...

I thought for calculus you needed atleast a merit for Algebra in level 2 O.o
meh I plan to do both since I'm doing level 2 maths now, it means I can take both calculus and statistics, stats would be easy though

I thought that we can take Calculus in Year 12... But I don't know, really. Apparently you have to get a 1 or 2 for Maths (at our school) to take it. Everyone's given a ranking, and then the top something will be able to take Calculus/Statistics? if they want to. Hmmm.

What's your topic for art, Aviation about? It sounds... remotely interesting.
