Hello! This will be my second contest that I'm running and quite possibly my last as I am trying to give away the last of my gold. My name is Orbit and these are my characters... oh but first, let me just run by a few rules to get us started.

THE WORLD

To understand this world you must know, mythical creatures and monsters beyond your imagination do exist, aliens are here and they want the planet, and there are rebels trying to protect you.

At the dawn of humanity an advanced alien species landed intent on gifting their knowledge to allow the primal man to develop society. Spreading wide they set the roots in Mayan, Egyptian, Greek, Nordic, Atlantian and Chinese society. There main hope lay within Atlantis, there they gifted libraries of information. They posed as gods, traveling in chariots of fire. Unfortunately their hope for Earth was dashed when desperate word came that the home planet they hailed from was in desperate danger. Fearful the alien gods frantically and recklessly began to leave the planet until no traces but myth were left... or so they thought.

Left behind in a dim cenote just to the west of the Mayan Capital was a long since abandoned hatch of experimental dead eggs. Left behind to rot, assumed not to be able to survive in the Earth's soil. Slowly, though, the twelve eggs began to hatch. The strange environment had delayed and malformed them but they were still alive.

From these were birthed The Clan a group of strange extraterrestrials siblings with only the knowledge provided in myth as to why they were left here. They are shape-shifters able to take on human forms and shift and exaggerate those forms. The eldest, a male, proclaimed himself head of the family and unaware of his parent's pure intentions for the Earth, the sole right owner to this planet, a self-proclaimed birth-gift to him from the parents. Feuding began immediately and they soon discovered that they could shift there forms not only to vainly make their noses smaller but they could also reform and repair organs internally. Unable to kill each-other for the moment, they spread out, working to devise a plan to either stay out of the way, or claim the planet for their own.

Now they have been at this for centuries, spread out across the globe. A group of underground informants are working to gather the myths together to figure out why these aliens are here and what humanity can do to save themselves...

✲Montezuma✲

✲About✲ Montezuma is the oldest extraterrestrial of the Clan and by far the most powerful so he doesn't bother much with his siblings, tending to let them try and take each other out. He's always been in a position of high power, serving as emperors, kings, conquistadors, rail-road tycoons, presidents, and most recently a stock broker and bank executive when it pleases him. His shadow is manifested as a sort of leashed pet following behind and it will bend around Montezuma to serve as an impenetrable shield. It has a will of it's own. Also, like anyone in his 'family' he can self-repair organs internally. This makes it very hard to kill him as the wounds must be massive and continually monitored by the attacker so they can't heal. He always wears very fitted and high-end suits.

✲Personality✲ He's got a slick sort of talking, always able to talk down to whoever is unlucky enough to attract his attention. He's very self confident and doesn't bother with anyone he doesn't need, then he used them up and tosses out the carcass.

✲Hair/Eyes✲ His hair is completely white, well trimmed and meticulously styled in that slick but messy look. He will always wear glasses unless he has a need not to due to his irises containing black in the eye, he also features painful cracks across his actual eye showing the shadow below the surface.

✲Other✲ He has single handedly taken out four of the eleven of his siblings and is currently trying to aim for his only near rival, his sister Hevita. He uses the information Kue gathers from Jo and Caterina to try and catch up with her but to his most sincere irritation he has not been able to... yet.

✲Hevita✲

✲About✲ Hevita was born with her 11 siblings as an abandoned hatchling. Born into the early years of the Mayan empire her clan believed the Earth was left to them as a present, but rightfully only one could have it. They've been locked in a battle for over 2000 years to attempt to kill each-other and enslave humanity to make Earth their own personal castle. Hevita can shift forms between a sludge like humanoid shape and a human form. She can also self-repair organs. This makes it very hard to kill her and her species as the wounds must be massive and continually monitored by the attacker so they can't heal.

✲Personality✲ Hevita is the second oldest and one of the most underhanded. She's paraded across the Earth under the guise of a succubus, a vampire, a witch, and other forms causing all sorts of historical screw-ups for humanity. She enjoys 'passionate' activities, flirting, playing with emotions, and wine.

✲Hair/Eyes✲ She has long black hair with gray bangs, she also has round dot eyebrows just above the corner of her eyes. Hey eyes are grey with a sludge like appearance shifting just behind the color if one looks close enough.

✲Other✲ She hates her older brother Montezuma and will do anything to kill him.

✲Kue✲

✲About✲ Kue was the ninth hatched of the abandoned aliens known now as the Clan. He can shift into a sort of misty smog and hover or float. He can also use this smog he creates to temporarily or permanently, depending on their strength of mind, fall victim to his whim. Also, like anyone in his 'family' he can self-repair organs internally. This makes it very hard to kill him as the wounds must be massive and continually monitored by the attacker so they can't heal.

✲Personality✲ Kue always puts himself and his needs first. He could be compared to the the snake of old stories; a conniving trickster that tempts you with all you could ever want just to spin the board and get what he sees coming to him, leaving you alone and with nothing. Oh and he's a bit of a creep. He loves the shape of women and likes to enjoy the company of them.

✲Hair/Eyes✲ His hair is short in back with longer bangs and very black in color. His eyes are a smoggy blue and when you look closely they actually have a moving mist effect, which displays his true form.

✲Other✲ He is currently doing everything in his power to escape this planet to save his own hide from the wrath of his older and more powerful siblings. This is why he is currently manipulating Jo (in an attempt to hitch a ride back to her home planet) and Caterina (to destroy the agency that threatens this and to relay information to his older siblings to save himself temporarily).

✲Jo✲

✲About✲ Jo is also an extraterrestrial but not from the same race as the Clan. She is here as a representative to report back to her kind and stay neutral between the Clan and humans, making sure to deliver all current information about the movement of both sides to her people so they can decide if the clan is really a threat or just some invasive pests to the Earth. She and her species are called Jumpers and can jump around in dimensions by sensing currents in time. She's very tight-lipped about herself so not much is known except she's been on Earth a very long time, long enough to have a pretty thorough history with the clan. Aside from the reference image the only thing she'll wear is a purple hoodie and black pants if she needs to be, slightly, less noticeable.

✲Personality✲ She's a cold-shouldered character with not much to lose, very easily putting herself in danger for the cause she works for. She is on a strict no-action mission so violence beyond self-defense could have her executed for treason on her home-world. The only weapon she'll use is a staff. She does find both humans and the clan to be equally worthless.

✲Hair/Eyes✲ Jo has angle cropped purple hair and lighter purple eyes. She usually wears purple lipstick as well.

✲Other✲ Unfortunantly she has a strong history of being used by both Hevita and more prominently by Kue who she's been 'manipulated' severely by. Jo is aware that he wants something from her but has been unable to deduce what that is. She also has a tentative... something with Ninia which has become a very strong connection for the short amount of time they've known each other.

✲Ninia Lupa✲

✲About✲ Raised from a young age by her government agent parents to use her charm and sweet demeanor to get information she was introduced as an undercover agent the day she signed her first record deal. Now she tours the country with Ashton her band-mate, best friend and fellow agent to gather the top secret information from other agents about the extraterrestrial clan and their attempts to over-come humanity to report to headquarters.

✲Personality✲ She's a sweet, motherly figure with a big heart and a knack for keeping others in check with their conscious. She can be pretty intimidating despite her smaller stature. She likes gossip and finds it important to help others with their problems. She has a strong singing voice. She tends to prefer old west saloon style meets the needs to show-off on stage as her style but she's just as comfortable in jeans and a loose t-shirt.

✲Hair/Eyes✲ Ninia has very blond, golden, hair that is thick, long and very large. She also has blue eyes and tanned skin.

✲Other✲ She often runs into Jo on her intel missions and the two have developed a strained regard for each-other that over the time that they know one another has developed into a thin-lined friendship and then something stronger that they don't know what to do with. Ashton doesn't trust Jo.

✲Ashton 'Bo' Lafayette✲

✲About✲ Childhood neighbor and best friend of Ninia's Ashton plays guitar for her in her concerts and was eventually brought in by her parents to be a body-guard for her on agency missions. Ashton is one of the few privileged humans to be aware of the presence of not only aliens but other mythical creatures in the modern world. He has a burn scar on his right shoulder from getting caught in a house fire when he was younger that he's a bit self conscious of. On stage he wears khakis, an ivory shirt, red vest and skinny tie but when he's just living his life he tends to stick to worn-out jeans and a washed out hoodie.

✲Personality✲ Ashton is generally a very laid back person with a temper that only gets set off when he feels particularly strongly about something. He likes fruit, back-country meat and hunting and is also fond of just sitting around and kicking back (hopefully on a porch). He has fantastic manners, especially with ladies. He tends to use “Sir” and “Ma’am” in most situations, and he's also in the habit of using the high compliment of "Peach" to anyone he thinks worthy.

✲Hair/Eyes✲ He has straw blond hair that he keep back in a short pony-tail and soft honey eyes.

✲Other✲ During their 'day job' as touring music superstars he and Ninia find it fun to confuse paparazzi into speculation that they are dating, though despite being as close as can be they are not in a relationship.

✲Felix✲

✲About✲Felix was abandoned at the age of two at the Organization for Rejected Mythic Children (O.R.M.C.) with a Lycanthrope condition. Felix joined the agency on the day of his seventeenth birthday when O.R.M.C. was no longer legally responsible for him. He enjoys video games, going for long walks and car trips, especially in the city. He's a thinker and an observer, making a well organized category in his head of the things he sees and hears. Felix hates the word were-wolf. He likes dressing like a teenager, silly shirts, comfortable jeans and sneaker.

✲Personality✲ Felix has hung onto the disgruntled teenage attitude a little out of his teen years. Often in the back of a group he tends to make smart-a** comments, most people who know him have become used to tuning him out. He is actually rather crafty and smart so often his helpful comments get ignored out of habit which doesn't help his attitude much. He doesn't tolerate fools. He is also a vegetarian and can't stand blood and gore.

✲Hair/Eyes✲ Felix's hair is naturally black but he dyes the roots on his tail, ears, and hair red. He has light orange eyes.

✲Other✲ Felix is very much crushing on Zen and get's fidgety and nervous around him at times but finds their friendship calming. He enjoys it when Zen will humor him and watch him play a video game. He tries to be gentle with Caterina's feelings for him but sometimes he just can't stand it and snaps at her.

✲Caterina Giordano✲

✲About✲ Born to a pair of wealthy stock traders Caterina was spoiled heavily as a child. Caterina grew up believing she was indeed the princess they would address her as. She was home schooled after multiple incidents at a well-to-do private school where she got into fist fights with anyone who tried to tell her she wasn't a princess. She became obsessed with finding Prince Charming and began to use her elderly grandfather's credit cards to travel to find one. After an incident with an ill intentioned merman and a shovel Caterina was sentenced to community service with the agency that works to find information about the alien Clan and assist mythical creatures to live a normal, adjusted life on Earth. There she met Felix, proclaimed him to be her Prince Charming and bought her way into a permanent job with the agency.

✲Personality✲ She's like a chili-pepper barely concealed in a thin layer of too-sweet icing. She makes a conscious effort to be sweet, kind, and graceful but when something does not go according to plan she melts down into a grumpy, temper-tantrum of a spoiled brat. Now this isn't to say that she isn't capable of making friends, they just have to be willing to play along with her princess fantasy.

✲Hair/Eyes✲ She dyes her hair a bubble-gum pink color and wears purple contacts. She would never let anyone see her without them. Naturally she has brown hair and brown eyes and would wear glasses.

✲Other✲ She does love Felix and wants him to be happy although she is far too scared of being heartbroken and not getting her happy ending that she won't let him go. She will physically assault him if he gets too snarky with her. She is also being manipulated by Kue with promises that he'll make her dreams come true to gather information about the agency from her.

✲Zen✲

✲About✲ A royal air dragon born sometime in the Shang dynasty of Ancient China Zen spent sometime wandering before arriving at the mountains of the Himalayas where he met the mountain dragon Mee-Yon. The two fell into companionship and then timidly into a sweet and gentle love. Unfortunantly soon after their hatchling was born a raider group keep through and Mee-Yon and their son was killed. Zen, heartbroken, took to wandering for many years. Now he works with other creatures of the mythos to gather information on the clan who he's starting to learn may have been responsible for the death of his family. He l ikes simple things, long robe-like shirts and polo shirts. He usually wears khaki pants.

✲Personality✲ Zen is a kind and chivalrous with a large heart very much built on old lessons of manners. He has a gentle smile and uses it often, not really capable of getting angry he instead tends to turn a kind word to those who would try to harm him. He has never spoken of his deceased wife and child so those who know him believe he has never been in a relationship.

✲Hair/Eyes✲ His hair is shoulder length and light blond, he also features neon green eyes.

✲Other✲ He is mostly unaware of Felix's feelings for him although Zen does have a very strong and reliable friendship with him.

✲Mee-Yon✲

✲About✲ Zen's deceased wife, she passed away sometime in the late-age of Ancient China. She was killed along with their only hatchling in a raid that in the present is discovered to have been lead by Kue. She is a high mountain dragon originally from the landmass of Korea she migrated down to the Himalayan Mountains where she met Zen and they took on the role of protecting a group of small villages there from raiders. She wears extravagant robes from ancient China, Korea and Japan, all gifts from Zen or the villagers she protected.

✲Personality✲ A gentle soul who was demure and careful in her movements, Mee-Yon was always aware and constantly willing to help anyone who needed it. Although well spoken she was rarely one to speak, she was more inclined to poetic verse or singing as opposed to plain words. Her expressions were subtle and often hard to read. Despite her quite nature she was still a dragon and would respond very quickly in a dangerous situation. She would not back down if threatened.

✲Hair/Eyes✲ Black hair, usually pulled back in a messy bun with a good amount hanging around her face. Her eyes are silver.

✲Other✲ Her skin has many small scars from climbing the mountain terrain as being a mountain dragon she can not fly.
