User ImageGender: Male
Hair color: Gold, dark-brown, black and hints of rust red. Hair color and ears. Or it is a gold-blonde, dyed of course.
Hair style: Hunter's hair is usually parted down the middle and is thick. It isn't an even cut and is shorter in the back than in the front. His hair is exactly like jaguar fur and goes down to his chin (at the front), or is cut so it goes down to just below where ears would be if he were human and can be pulled back (so long as it covers where human ears would be), with his bangs still hanging down. (Biggest thing we learned from fanart… hide his ears when he’s not in his demi form XD). He does not have a LOT of spots! No, just a few ^_^ Less = More, so don't overdo it when adding the spots smile Hair and tail should be the same color!
Eyes: Bright Sapphire Blue.
Height: 4'10
Age: 12-13
Build: He is well built, but not muscled. Toned. He is still only thirteen and some muscles just don’t develop at that age. This is the best reference I have on his overall appearance. This is him at the beginning of the book! I love this picture
More: See his page for clothing specifics, marks, examples and more! Since Hunter has multiple different forms and other specifics, it's a good idea to check out his page. It will increase your chances at winning since Hunter is my favorite character smile

User ImageGender: Female
Hair color: Red
Hair style: Short, I imagine if she were real her hair would look like Ashley Judd's from Divine secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood. It is curly when long, and you can see evidence of this by a curl that pops out from her right side and ends below her chin. the bottom of the back of her hair is also very slightly wavy from curls that want to grow.
Eyes: Blue
Height: 5'2
Age: 27
Build: Muscular, though not bulky. She has average sized breasts.
More: See her page for clothing specifics, marks, examples and more!
Basic character sheet: Miles's character sheet

User ImageGender: Female
Hair color: Black
Hair style: Almost shoulder length in the back and sides with two long sections by her temples. The long sections go down to her sides and she sometimes clips them with gold hair ties. But she also changes the way she wears her hair a lot. The main thing to remember is the two long sections.
Eyes: Cobalt Blue
Height: 5'9
Age: 23
Build: Slim, but muscular. She has the largest breasts out of all the women in Corp.Agents, but they're not huge. Just a little above average
More: See her page for examples as well as more information and details.
Basic character sheet: Masami's basic character sheet

User ImageGender: Male
Hair color: Yellow-Blond
Hair style: Side parted on his right, it dips below his left eye. It can be a little messy at times due to the fact he gets so engrossed in his work he doesn't keep his appearance up.
Eyes: Brown
Height: 6'0
Age: 19
Build: Muscles! He is very physically strong because of his job as a mechanic
More: See his page for clothing specifics, marks, a character sheet and more!
Basic character sheet: Dune's basic character sheet

User ImageGender: Female
Hair color: Brown
Hair style: Brown frizzy hair that she keeps under a handkerchief or braids for school. Her bangs are straight because they aren't long enough to get frizzy yet. Her hair would have large curls in it if she took care of it.
Eyes: Green
Height: She hasn't been measured in a while but her best guess is around 4'5" (she's actually probably taller than that.)
Age: 13.5
Build: Slim, greater lower body strength then upper because she enjoys running.
More: See her page for clothing specifics, marks, a character sheet and more!
Basic character sheet: Peola's basic character sheet

User ImageGender: Male
Hair color: Black
Hair style: When he's working he has it slicked back, though still parted on his right side. When he's casual he just lets it dangle in front of his face. His bangs do not go down too far past his eyebrows.
Eyes: Gray. He also has glasses.
Height: 6'1
Age: He tells people he's in his early 30's
Build: Toned, though thin. He has a heart condition so he can't be all that active.
More: See his page for clothing specifics, marks, a character sheet and more!
Basic character sheet: Dimitri's basic character sheet

Q: You said you prefer anime, manga and realism. Which styles additional to those exist?
A: chibi, American cartoon, exaggerated, Picasso, void to name a few. We don't like exaggerated muscles or noodle like limbs. We're not a fan of the cartoon styles like you see on Nickelodeon or Cartoon Network during the day, (power puff girls, Johnny Phantom, etc.) even if we like the shows themselves it's not the art style we're seeking. We want the characters to be anatomically correct. They should only bend where there are joints, they shouldn't be ultra muscled or super skinny.

Q: Are animations allowed?
A: Yeah! Gif, Flash, SWiSH, anything! ^_^

Q: Can you enter more than one drawing of the same character?
A: Absolutely!

Q: Ravyn, can you tell me more about your published novel?
Predator Turned Prey! It's available by order at ANY Borders, Book Star, Barnes and Noble or any of their sister stores! You can also order it online at bn.com amazon.com and borders.com! The price is $13.50 but some people on borders.com and amazon.com are selling it way cheaper, I've seen $9-$10

It is my pride and joy. A fantasy story focusing on Segregation and the horrors it brings. It is a novel about slavery and seeing it through both sides. The slave owners who grow up with it and the slaves who are forced to as well; about how two separate cultures see one another and why. Hunter, Mira, James and Matsi (characters from the contest) are main characters in the novel. Mira and James live in the upper class whilst Hunter and Matsi are slaves. The story focuses on Mira, a spoiled rich girl who gets a new 'pet/playmate' as an early birthday present-- that pet is the main character in the story, Hunter. The story focuses on him trying to teach Mira and her friends why slavery is wrong and how they, as children, can end it—children are the future after all... Think of how much money is spent on children's toys, movies, etc... they're a cult in their own, just about! Major influence.

I wrote it when I was turning fifteen, just after I got myself and my sister out of a slavery situation. There was a major problem in that there are a lot of novels about slavery, segregation and more... but they are written in a way that either drops the issue or bores people. I wrote Predator Turned Prey as a way to reach out to people who want a story rather than a text book, and now the US Army Reserves use it to teach about Human Trafficking.

Q: The name Ravyn Crescent is on all your work... Is it your real name or a pen name?
A: sweatdrop I get asked that so often I'm thinking of posting a picture of my birth certificate! My real, legal name is: Ravyn Falisha Crescent. It's not a pen name or just a screen name, it's my real name. Declared on the About the Author section of my website. You can now say YOU know the facts! Anyone saying anything different is lying to you and you can say "nu uh"!

Q: How do we submit art to you?
A: PM it to me OR post it here!

Q: What style do you prefer?
A: That all depends on what category you’re going to enter in. Generally, I like Anime, Manga and Realism best. For the manga the covers are all going to be in color, they must be. If you want to do an "insert" comic (one that's inside the comic, almost like a chapter break for scene changes) those can be black and white, or color and we’ll gray scale them.

Q: Why are you holding this contest?
A: I like to throw contests. It’s also great marketing for my published novel. I meet new friends, too!

Q: How many characters can be in the picture?
A: As many as you like..

Q: Can we put Original Characters into the picture?
A: No. This contest is my contest ONLY my characters or Ally's characters can be used. However, if you are a fan of one of the stories and want to draw yourself in with your favorite character, that is allowed smile It will go onto my fanart page. (Unless the story does not yet have one, then it will be added as the time comes)

Q: Can I ask you questions about the novel? Or ask Illaria about her manga?
A: Yes! smile

Q: Will you edit my story?
A: Nope. Trust me, you don’t want me to! I hired professionals for my published ones.

Q: Will you tell your agent about me?
A: I might... but it’s unlikely, sorry.

Q: Will you read my story or poem?
A: No.

Q: Why not!?
A: Because, sadly, I can't! sad I have had to turn down a lot of manuscripts from people and I DO feel bad about it, but my publishers, agent, editor(s) and... my mother… have warned me that I am NOT to read unpublished manuscripts because a lot of young authors are being accused of copyright infringement. There have been a few cases where authors have been given manuscripts from fans and 3 things have happened.
1) They read the manuscript, and realized it was a lot like the story they were witting/had just written and either got angry.
2) They did not read the manuscript but their novel was similar and the fan accused them of stealing their idea
3) They stole the whole thing.
I refuse to get involved with any of that! I don't steal, so I don't read unpublished manuscripts... I will, however, tell you some steps on how to get your work published.

Q: What if I give you permission to use anything from my writing you want?
A: I don't steal or borrow. I want to be original, thus I don't take chances.

Q: I'll put it in writing!
A: Sorry...

Q: What if I just mail it to you anyway?
A: I'll wonder how you got my address... and if I receive mail that feels like a manuscript, or holds a disk, and it's from someone I don't know, I send it back before I even consider opening it. Return To Sender, original packaging and not opened. I'll also think you're very rude. Sadly, people have done this to me... I've had someone drop their manuscript on my table at a book signing and state "Now you cannot say you haven't seen it!" ... I told them I was very sorry they felt the need to do this, and that if they believed it would force me to read it they were mistaken, there were plenty of witnesses around to testify what happened and I'll have someone throw it away if it's left on my table, but I would hate to do it so it was highly suggested she simply take it and we all pretend it never happened... it was sad, too, she seemed like such a nice person before that. She explained she was just very desperate to have someone published read her work and I've forgiven her, but I hate when this sort of stuff happens.

Q: That isn't fair.
A: >_< There are a lot of places online where you can submit your work for it to be read... another author might read it! Please understand, I don’t intend to be cruel.

Q: Isn't there ANY WAY we can post something for you to read?
A: I allow members to post SHORT (20 pages tops) stories and poetry on my forum, but there is no guaranteed way for you to get me to read it, but if it is there I might. Currently, though, this is on hold.

Q: I read your book, can I give you ideas on a possible sequel!?
A: NO! Sorry >_< but no! I already have ideas and if I need more I’ll ask on my forum, never on Gaia.

Q: You're mean.
A: I'm crushed that you would say that sad

Q: What if I have another question?
A: PM me or post here! I’ll answer ASAP or Illaria will! sweatdrop
