Hm... I'm looking at this drawing really hoping it looks like Dimitri. My style is a lot different from the examples you guys offer because I draw the hair realistically and I try to get things as anatomically correct as possible. x.x;; But that's the point of the contest, right? To get everyone's own personal ability to transpose the characters? I have a hard time drawing extra pointy anime hair. ><; I'm sure I'll be okay. xDD

the samples and examples are just that, samples and examples! They're to give a basic idea on what the character looks like, but the rest is up to you wink I know you'll do amazing! It should be your own style, as you said, that's the point of the contest! ^_^

Yup, just samples. I like to see different styles. Speaking of different styles (not really but I guess it is as good a jumping off point as any) has anyone seen Persepolis? I recommend it, but I strongly recommend the books first because it does well to supplement the movie with more emotion.

I think he was being sarcastic, Ally wink ALL my threads get to over 100 pages XD I've got a few people mad at me for not running a Dice Game thread for Durem for the Olympics like I did for last years water balloon fight... I would do it this year, but I have a LOT of work to do and... well, every scrap of gold I have is going to this contest, teeheeeheee. I imagine that guy's just being funny.

I haven't seen Persepolis... I might, though! smile
