Have you ever tried it? If not you should. I HATE cooked fish, but I LOVE sushi. Sushi has a more crisp fresh taste than cooked fish, which tastes how fish markets smell, and I hate that. v_v;;

*^_^* I did... I tried 3 times now...tried -very- hard to eat it too... something about the texture more than the taste I fear... I can't make myself -swollow- it XD... ((I know...its retarded....but I really DID try..))

Sushi's my fave, although I do like me some parmesan-crusted tilapia at Olive Garden too. heart (And no fishy smell either. 3nodding )

Ohhhh my god. There is a japanese restaurante around here where I live and thye had some lunch special for like... 8-10 dollars. @_@ All you can eat sushi buffet.

0_o I don't know what sushi you've heard about, but none of mine has been like that. Most sushi chews like...hmm. Really really soft tender rare steak. Kinda. A cross between that and a mango. But nowhere near either taste wise. That's the closest I can come to an accurate description. v_v Now if you get eel, roe, or sea urchin, those are completely diffrent textures. Or shrimp, too, that's tougher to chew.

P.S. Naita, I don't think anyone would mind waiting for the prizes, if the inventory organizer is all you're waiting on and the actual judging is done. xp

Ive tried....tuna shrimp...and in a very daring moment eel...I think the eel got the worst reaction XD..mostly becuase it tasted of sesame..*thbbth* *^_^*

Yellowtail and toro are my two favorite fish for sashimi and nigiri. Roll wise...there are far too many different restaurant specials that I love to write down. Spicy tuna and spicy yellowtail are nice simple rolls though.

Those look so cool. I love sushi that's so pretty you can hardly eat it. With the little cucumber and carrot and ginger flowers! So awesome.
