T.T they are expensive...all my money goes towards art/contest XD
I should buy items instead sometimes but oh well XD

Art is my major obsession...especially since my items can be stolen and stuff.

x.x ... question. How long does it usually take you to do auction pieces?
And do you usually keep in contact with your winner and tell them whats going on?
Or how you're doing... Or no contact til finished?

;lol If I have a pose in mind, the least amount of time it takes to do any peice is 1-2 days. The longest is about a week really. CG usually a week or 2 (though I don't offer cg.. ever really. xD)

I won 2 auctions back ages ago *checks* April 20th and May 7th.

Auction 1 = 4 artists of which i have had no updates on my art to my remembrance.
Only time was when giving them the OC information when it ended really.
I haven't had any contact me and let me know whats happening with the art.
I have had 2 contacts which i initiated one on the thread and the last was when gaia disabled the trades
And that was over a month ago...and i think it was that people were all busy/away on summer vacation.

Auction 2 = 11 artists. Most were very quick...but im waiting on 4 which again i havent heard from.
Only time was when giving OC information to them and I haven't had any updates since then.
I have had 1 contact as far as i know which again was when gaia disabled the trades and i havent heard since.

I wouldn't mind if i heard from them. I'm quite happy to wait providing i get updates and know whats going on.
And that i know people haven't forgotten about me and the orders. thats 700k worth of stuff there.
I could do other stuff with it if they dont want to do my art x.x I could put it in the contest.

That really sucks. I always make sure I update people if I think I will end up taking longer then usual.

well, personally, i take a while to do anything...but i normally give a quick responce if contacted, and i just recently gave my auction winner a heads up on possible poses...(i think she picked it up, but she didn't message me back...*sob*...) plus, you've seen how i give a mass update every now and again...

anyway, that sucks that you haven't recieved your art yet...have the trades been completed already? or are they still "pending"?

hey Kling! sorry i'm going to pretty much head out now...but i thought i'd let you know that i did get your 3rd place bumper headshot done! >_< i'll be doing a mass update on my DA site tomarrow at some point and it'll be in the group towards the end...i'll send you a link to the page once it's up though! (im' pretty much putting up about 15 different pieces...maybe more...to update my site since i haven't done that since winter quarter...lol...) also, i didn't put the ribbons on like you asked, but i might put them on later anyway just so i have a version with them...if i do, then i'll send it to you too! ^_^

I wouldn't mind so much if i actually had an update once in a while.
Just to let me know that i haven't been forgotten and to let me know they're behind or SOMETHING.
I just hate not knowing... x.x and the trades are still pending thank God...

I was so close to saying just screw it and canceling them all last night x.x
I mean its 700k i could put towards my contest or spend elsewhere or something.
I might pm them and say if they haven't started yet or cant get it to me soonish not to worry.....

Mmm...yes you read correctly and its 8 artists to be precise.
4 from a 4-person auction and 4 from a 11-person auction around 4 months ago.
And between those 8 people i have around 700k tied up x.x

And yes i haven't really heard from any of them since i gave them my OCs details.
Except for 2 times when ive pmed them for various reasons but i never got info on the art.
And im kind of....tired of waiting x.x

Kimmi: well...yeah...i have... sweatdrop ...and i'm really bad at PMing people...(BucketHat's commish, and the entry to you're contest are good examples...) but that's partially because i get so cought up working on something else, that i haven't made much progress on it...so there's nothing to report...i'd deffinately get in touch with the artists and let them know that you're getting frustrated with them...(my auction winner had also not heard back from me for a week or two and she was getting a little worried, but i responded back to her amd let her know that i hadn't forgotten about her...) and if you really don't want the art anymore, then i'd just tell them to forget it...anyway, sorry for being really unhelpfull... sweatdrop

OMG! i won!!!! 0 w 0 that's really unexpected! thank you master, Rje! i'm really happy that you saw what i was aimning at ^^ i actually wanted to capture that part where he has that silent affection and appriciation with Likreal's company the other simple and endearing things that gives him a bit of hapiness.
