I'm sorry Kimmi... but... they... I didn't like them... I liked 8 the best... and 7 not far behind that. I didn't really like 9 either though... cause I didn't like Zidane and Garnet... both 9 and 10 I kept falling asleep to.... they were just really boring... what I didn't like about 10 was that it was too predictable... nothing in that game surprised me... it was pretty though.

FF10 and FF10-2 were the first FF games i saw/played so i will always love them ^ ^
I'm a romantic at heart so that probably comes into play as well and i loved the graphics.
I never thought it was predictable or boring, i watched my brother play all of FF10 before i bought it.
Lol, the end even made me cry and i said they better make a continuation which they did.

I see.. I already guessed the ending still close to the beginning of the game... so... yeah.. well ff8 is a real good love story I think.. I love that game, and it has such pretty music in it as well. The first final fantasy I ever saw was ff6 back when they were calling it number 3 on the super nintendo. and then of course 7 came out for the playstation and that was great, though I always thought Cloud was an idiot... of course my absolute favorite character of all is Vincent from ff7 even though I like 8 more. And 8 really had such a sad and romantic story... gaw.. makes me wanna play it again...

Really? Well you must be pretty smart then ^ ^; i didn't really know what was happening.
FF8 was good, i own it but since i was used to PS2 by then i found it hard to enjoy...
Plus the ending went straight over my head ^ ^; i never did understand what happened at the end.

Vincent is awesome ^ ^ Dirge of Cerberus is a good game despite my suckyness with shooting XD

Eh.... I don't like to talk about how smart I may or may not be... cause I always feel weird about it.. I mean... when I was in middle school I had a college senior reading level... and when I was younger I never understood why people couldn't read well.... but then... I always really sucked at math.. I still don't remember my multiplication tables... but when I read books.. I usually know how their going to end at least once I get half way into them...

You didn't get the end? Which part? I could explain it if you want :3

I actually like a lot of the older games much more than the newer ones.. it seems that the newer ones lack a lot of the depth of the older ones.. but one of my favorite games is chrono trigger.

*Grins* Well if you can guess how things are going to end then you're obviously smart. I'm relatively clueless about how things are going to work out until i get to the end. Well except in romance things - you usually know they'll get together somehow. But im never good at guessing or working out how or anything like that.

*Blinks* Well i just didn't understand the end and how it worked out...i didnt understand if people died and why they were in space and i dont remember all of it now but i just REALLY didn't understand it at all. Sure i'd like it if you explained it for me ^ ^

Lol, you sound like my bf... Mario loves all the older games and goes on and on about them. I'm more of a new age gamer... I get caught up in the graphics and realness of them ^ ^; I prefer playing new ones because i dont like the old graphics.

Well, no one died at the end except the sorceress, once she passed her powers on to Edea. They were all stuck in that time warp thing and had to picture home in order to get there.. Like for Squall he got lost and couldn't find his way back until he remembered that Rinoa promised that they would wait for each other in that one field. So he was able to find his way back to that place. You did get that Laguna is Squall's father though right?

I love the new graphics, but the old ones are endearing :3

Yea i got that he was his dad...I went and browsed youtube for the ending.
And its not what i remember, wonder if there's alternate endings or something.
Or maybe i just didn't pay attention enough...oh well i kind of understand it now.

^ ^ yea they are, it would be great if they brought them out again on the newer systems.
Mario says that the storylines are much better for the older ones as well ^ ^

What I thought was interesting was that Rinoa's mother was the one that Laguna was in love with.. though he ended up marrying Raine instead. No... there was only one ending..

Yeah the old games had much more thoughtful storylines because thats what made the games, because games focus more on the graphics now they skimp on the story.

*Blinks* I should replay it or something one time...I forgot about who Laguna liked and stuff.
Mmm...cant remember why it confused me so much then because it made sense that time.
Maybe it was just switching suddenly from being in space to that dream type world...cant remember.
I played it a long time ago so i just remember i found it hard to understand.

I suppose thats true, though i still think that the current storylines for games are still good.

Well the new games on PS2 i found and love are:

* FF10, FF10-2, FF12
* Disgaea 1 & 2
* Grandia II (I want Grandia 3 but it never came out here T.T)
* La Pucelle is pretty good but i have to restart it because i stuffed it up >.<
* Valkyrie Profile 2
* Dirge of cerberus - Story line is good
