Likereal was glad that Dominique hadn't continued to be difficult by pushing him away or anything like that, a slight feeling of contentment filled him for a few moments as the other boy leaned into his embrace. He could feel the hand clinging to his shirt as his sobs and tears slowed, the Fallen closed his eyes, his cheek still resting on top of the other boys head. He was just enjoying the closeness and this moment, though it was too soon broken by Dominique's words but he didn't really mind.
He stayed silent for a while, both during Dominique's words and some moments afterwards as he thought and turned over the other boys words in his mind. He moved his head back up from its resting place and shook his head to the side slightly, in an attempt to try and flick the long dark strands back off his face without moving his hands. With the tiniest sound of discomfort his large midnight black wings broke through the skin of his back and spilt a small amount of his blood on the ground below. They flared behind him for a moment in a stretch before curving around them, surrounding the other boy in another feathered embrace before he whispered, "So what if you reacted like that? Everyone reacts differently to things...you are not crazy and besides that crazy is a relative word. So is normal...by human terms neither of us are normal, though really i don't think any one is normal."
Likereal's eyes flickered with an unrecognizable emotion and his tongue flicked over his lips and he seemed almost uncertain in what he was saying before he continued, his voice possibly even softer now, "Why would I tire of you Dominique, you think I would cast you away? For what purpose or reason? You are not worthless and you are not as helpless as you think, every day i see improvement. You say you are broken but you are not...you live and react and occasionally you even find joy and something to smile about. If they had truly broken you, you would be nothing but a doll...and empty shell that feels and thinks nothing. No joy, no emotion, no nothing."
His fingers had wandered without his noticing and had begun to tangle and thread themselves through the other boys white locks, "In some ways...I fear I am not as strong as you, but I know you wont believe me. I have never had to endure the hardships that you did for all those years of imprisonment and I don't know if I would have been able to. I know that I faired quite lightly with my banishment from Heaven compared to what the First had to endure."
