Let The Music Do The Talking

Ok the concept of this is to draw something influenced off of a song. I will give a short list of songs to pick from along with avatars you can use. Each set of pictures from each song will be judged along with over all judging of all pictures. I want to see how people can turn a song into a picture using my avatar. You have complete artist freedom with the art and avatar; I hope if you enter you will have fun doing this. Also if you have any questions please do not be afriad to ask.

Contest Rules
Entry must be your own work!
You must use at least my avatar in the picture
You need to tell me which song it belongs to, if you do not and I can't tell then it will count as a freebie
Any art style and media is fine
If there is not at least seven picture for a song then it will not receive a 'best of song' prize
Any art with me coupled with someone not on my friends list will not Qualify as an entry. (unless I give to ok before the art is delivered)
I hold the right to extend this contest once
If all art is not collected after the contest has ended I will give an extension to only those who have filled out a form
IF YOU ARE RUDE ANY ART GIVEN WILL NOT QUALIFY IN THIS CONTEST!!! I am sorry but no amount of skill will be an excuse for rudeness
Any one on the black list will not be able to enter (this goes with the above rule)

Q&A

Can I use lyrics of the song in the art?
Yes you can.

Can I alter the avatar outfit a bit?
Yes, complete artist freedom as long as you keep the base.

Why are all the songs kind of the same?
Because these are my favorite songs and each hold a person meaning to me. I would not mind explain each one but I doubt anyone would want to read it.

Can I do a couple or a group?
Yes, I have a list of friends with their avatars you can draw with mine.

Can I win more then one prize?
Yes you can but it is only prize per picture.

What happens if there are not enough pictures for a certain song?
I will extend the date of the contest once and if there still is not enough then I am sorry but there will not be a prize for that song.

I like your first avatar; can I change the colors?
Yes, in fact I have a color chart I did out of boredom a few weeks ago.

Can I alter the avatar it self to fit the song I picked?
Yes as long as the base to the right does not change; but the hair can be changed or colored different. If you would like to alter the base is fine; or add to it such as turn my avatar to a doll or give wings or anything like that is fine.


Do I have to use a form?
No, but if you do not use one I will not inform you of any changes in deadlines; but you should at least tell me which song the picture is for.

I have a great idea! But none of the samples would fit it; can create my own outfit?
Sure you can or just ask me and make a request for a tektek of my avatar in a certain theme and I will be happy to create one.

Above you said I can change it as long as I don't change the base but I can alter it. What does that mean?
Basically I have a few set things that are a must for my avatar. She is a white feline; I really do not mind or care if she is anthro or not. She has to be White with pink eyes; I perfer light blond and white hair as all of my tektek are those colors but changing the hair to something else like pink, black, ect. is fine and will not drop your chances of winning either. This does mean you can play with her tail and ears; I am a fan of both fluffy and slender tails.

Side Contest

I always need a bit of help bringing in people; so I am going to ask for you guys to help me out. Who ever brings in the most artist to my contest will win a reward for thier job. The catch is that this is going to be based on points and the artist must submit an entry. How you do it is up to you but please do not annoy the artists in trying to get them to come in.
