You know what would be good? To have little banners that identify each section from the Table of Contents. *looks at those good with art programs* >.>
The second post of the contest is rather busy. People usually (and this is coming from someone who used to scan through contests in here all the time for a time), while surfing through contest threads, always look at the prizes and the avatars/OCs. There are a lot of contests out there, so I don't think they'll be taking a whole lot of time to read each one. If we can make those appeal to them, then they read the rest and enter. The avatar part is easy enough to figure out since we have them as images, but the categories and prizes are a bit crammed into the second post.
I would recommend organizing the posts like this:
1st Post: Introduction/News & Updates/Table of Contents
2nd Post: Avatars and the bits of info about each Bricker
3rd Post: Categories and Prizes/Suggestions on what to draw or what would give them a better chance of winning
4th Post: Art Track/Donators
5th Post: Links to other contests and threads/Affiliates
6th Post: Free for whatever crap we can think of later
The Suggestions would come right under the Categories and prizes.
The rules post can be included in the 1st, 3rd, or 4th post. Also, in the rules I would clarify that stealing is not allowed and any cases of tracing/copying existing art pieces will not be accepted and reported, as well. People still think it's okay to copy Sailor Moon artwork and drawing over it. sweatdrop
Perhaps we should say that we would prefer that all artists and entrants keep chatter in the art thread to help bump it in this forum and avoid posting in Brick? Help us bump, pplz!
Also, to avoid what happened the last time, when someone enters a drawing do not say "hot damn that ones a winner" or something along those lines. We had a lot of soreness with that remark. ^^;
Mmmmmm...pancakes.
