My opinion is that the main prize for Brick group picture shouldn't necessarily require the picture to contain all of us, but rather at least say six of us. That, I think, would scare a lot less people away from that category.

If more people feel this way then speak up, I may change it.

However I specifically made that rule to promote group art of everyone, and to also avoid people drawing group pictures featuring only people with sponsored contests in hopes of hitting one category if they miss the other.

With the contest running 4 months and that category being worth millions in gold (and it will likely grow in value, as will the other categories, as I sell off feb05 letters I was originally planning on including before I made group and individual categories and some of the item donations I've been given the go-ahead to sell) I figured we could get some really good large group art by the end of this thing. If artists don't want to include that many people in a picture then that's fine. The other two group categories give them the luxury of drawing...3+ to qualify I believe?

I see your point, actually, but I also know how hideously difficult drawing group pics that size are. I did one on commission once and was close to screaming, throwing my laptop across the room and sobbing hysterically by the end of it.

Yes you are, and I apologize for that, I was setting up individual/group subcategories in the photobucket account and must have misclicked a copy/paste when I moved pictures.

Anyway it's all fixed now.
