It's overwhelming to draw THAT many characters in one picture, from experience. I've been an anime artist since age 12 (now age 21) and I've done a group picture that big maybe twice.

But then, with the sheer amount of avvies, I'm not sure which ones I should draw? Is it safe to assume that the ones put up as the first avvies are the ones that the threadlings of 3rd brick would perfer to be drawn as?

Maybe I just don't handle so many options well? sweatdrop

Well, the big grand prize is for a huge group picture, but there are also categories for individual avatar portraits, as well as extra contests sponsored by individual Brick denizens that are a lot less involved. You could just as easily enter one of those instead. 3nodding

The avatars listed under people are basically guides for what to draw us as. Any of the ones listed under any of the people will work - I don't think there's really a preference as to which one would be best. Take your time and look through, there are a lot of different contests to enter depending on what you're comfortable with drawing.

Right, right, I see. I think that this rule will dissuade artists from participating... 14 is a lot and asking for lower quality... discuss?

My opinion is that the main prize for Brick group picture shouldn't necessarily require the picture to contain all of us, but rather at least say six of us. That, I think, would scare a lot less people away from that category.

Wow that was super duper quick! It hits it right near the mark!! The only suggestions I'd say to get sam closer is that despite me being pretty tall IRL, sam is a shortie with a bit of a thicker build (not fat, just thicker frame). The gaia av "chibi" proportions are fairly accurate. I should type this up in a bio or something. Good work!

I think to do thicker, all you have to do is just widen the arms and chest a tad and make the neck a bit shorter. Nothing major razz

humms... sam is fairly playful, so draw him mostly doing silly things.. anything will do. Troll sam is very unintelligent, thus is easily confused/transfixed by simple things. Sultansam I envision as some sort of messenger-to-the-gods mystical figure-type. Free to interpretation.
