It was delicious. I'll probably make it again. I'm trying to make myself actually cook fairly frequently. I can't live on junk food anymore.

it started to annoy me though XD

'all places of religious worship are OF COURSE kept
dark to inspire mystery and awe and to manipulate people!"

Modern churches are designed differently. Old cathedrals tend to be dark.

I'm good. Watching Burn Notice. I love that show so much.
Artistic Licence says:

||@phantom: Awesome! I cook now and then but I imagine I would more if I had someone else to cook for.

@friar: Often true but not always. The religion of Sumer was led by the rich priests who told the peasants that their only chance of mercy was to work their asses off until they died, and even then the gods hated peasants so much that they would burn eternally regardless. But their places of worship were the Ziggurats, which inspired awe by being freakishly huge and geometric, but also because they were used to study the stars, which allowed the kings and priests to predict the weather and solar events.

phantom: Burn Notice? that's the show
that used to play after Monk... XD
I've never seen it, it looked pretty intense though.
what's it about?

al: Sumer, was in Mesopotamia right?
I always always get Sumerians, Sumatra confused.
for some stupid reason.

do you know a lot about Sumer?
if you do I totally have a question for you, I've been
trying to google it but haven't found anything D:

Artistic Licence says:

||@friar: Yeah, Sumer was in Mesopotamia, considered to be the first true city. I don't even remember what Sumatra is exactly. xD I know a fair amount, though I don't know how much is accurate. It's weird, nobody really studies Sumer anymore, especially not for its culture. They had a thorough form of writing that people have managed to translate and still no information... What's your question?
