Nope, not yet. I still have a year of high school left and I have to choose what I'm gonna be doing with my life in the first place. I'll probably live with my mum for the first year of uni and give her a sense of security before I move off. So pretty much two more years.

@Mika: My grandmother actually offered to take custody of me but I'm thinking of finishing my associate's degree first. As soon as I'm 18 I'm fleeing the state no matter what.

Even though I have more relatives than I can count I can hardly rely on any of them as they're either all on my mum's side or off doing their own thing and/or oblivious to my existence. I still have to get a job, but one time my mum was freaking out at me for asking the hairdresser to keep my hair long instead of following my mum and getting it cropped to a near buzz cut. She said that all the money I'd get from my job would be put into the household so I could "feel her pain" for having spent 40 bucks getting only a little bit of hair cut. Gah I'll figure that out sometime. Hopefully she just meant that while angry.

She thinks long hair would look ugly on me, even though she has never seen it. And she measures the supposed amount of “respect” I have for her by looking at how much I follow her orders.

Nope. Boll cut since childhood until I shifted my hairline more to the side when I got to high school. My parents even shaved me bald when I was 3 or 4 in order to make me grow more hair(?) and gave me boyish clothes so everyone though I was a guy. XP

And yeah. She is like that, that's why I've never gotten to talking a lot in real life cuz my talking usually leads to her feeling like I've disrespected her and don't love her, etc etc. She has quite... conservative? views that she never changes, and I'm the type to look at things from all directions, so I hate it when she goes about talking poorly about homosexuals or what she heard someone say about homeless people and that she believes it.

I'm so glad my mom was liberal. My issues were more that I was raising her than overcontrol. My hair changed a lot. My mom gave me bobs when I was younger, and then I got a bunch of odd and different haircuts as my hair changed or I got bored.

Neat. Changing my hair is so difficult as it's plain by nature and doesn't like any other style than what it's used to. XP

Ah I'm still good (and procrastinating from studying for my French exam tomorrow XP ). Was talking to my school's counselor (just was in a really pissed off mood one day and she was free so I popped in for a chat) and she was saying that at least I didn't go completely emo and start smoking and doing drugs like some people in the world. Became a better person because of the experience? But meh, life goes on and people are much worse off than I am.
