Aww. *blush* You have a much better understanding of muscles and figures though. I was recently just trying to draw a more toned guy and I had to look up so many tutorials which caused my computer to lag like arthritic snails. Then I had trouble trying to figure out how to cell shade it. XP
Artistic Licence says:

|| Lol, that's what I do. I'm terrible at muscle and finally getting SOMEWHERE with figure, though I think you're ahead of me on that one. Every time I draw muscles I have to look up a dozen tutorials and references.

Always a pleasure to see your art!
I get odd with figures though. I always find whenever I draw the people look stiff when I'm trying to make them flow. I'm also trying not to mess up with my heads anymore since I usually make them too big for the body, but a lot of the time I have to separate the head and resize it. I guess going to draw chibis doesn't help much XD
Artistic Licence says:

|| Yeah, chibis aren't very good practice with proportion. There's nothing wrong with having to resize sketches though; I resize every hand I draw, then redraw it another 10 times and resize a few more times... xP If you're trying to make things less stiff, though, consider doing motion/pose sketches, just doodle the general pose in less than 15 seconds. Sometimes it helps to go over it a bunch of times in squiggly lines to define depth and shape a bit more. :3

Always a pleasure to see your art!
I try to do things quickly sometimes but my finicky nature always surfaces once I see a line that is completely off so I erase and there goes the rest of my 15 seconds. XD Even when I first started selling sketches last year, I kept making my lines too neat and dark so that it looked closer to lineart than a sketch.
Artistic Licence says:

|| Being neat can be a good thing. Perhaps a different method... Try drawing arrows for the general motion before you draw the character(s), or just after the first rough skeleton?

Always a pleasure to see your art!
Yeah. Well, I'll just try to practice a bit more and hopefully I'll get better X3 Have to go for tonight! See you tomorrow!
Artistic Licence says:

|| Good night Mika!

Always a pleasure to see your art!

First time in a long time I'm posting in this thread...

Yay people!

Don't worry - we've been dead a while. I'm too lazy to bump for extended periods, and everyone else has been busy.

That sucks - but it's also kinda fortunate. It gives me time to finish up the rest of my commissions and a few things for the Halloween Collective, then I can tackle JAVA. :3
