@Mika: There's something off about the back arm... I think you put the elbow on the wrong side. x3 Looks good though! Have you tried the technique of drawing border lines? Like draw a rectangle shape around the person to show which direction the foreshortening is.

Oh, and I had a lovely time at the fair! ^_^ Very fun. Good food, fun people, and I brought a sketch pad and drew all the costumes and horses.

XD Field of flowers filled with chibi bishies!

Yeah, I think I actually just forgot the flesh on one side and added more to the other XP I shall fix that arm. Ah I asked for my mum's opinion on the pic and she said the hand is too big, so now I've cropped it down a little. Never tried the border line thing as I wasn't that sure what I was drawing in the first place XD Started with a hand and gradually made the rest.

Oh his front leg is supposed to be bent inwards, but you can't really notice that anymore with his shorts =_= I'll try to make it more evident that he's bending it... somehow XP

Honestly, the only easy way to show inward bending is through shading and coloring, and even then it's often hard to tell. I thought at first it was my problem as an artist, but in photographs it looks equally odd sometimes.

I just came back to Gaia after almost 2 years of being gone with the intent of having my own contest.. but now I'm surfing the forum and have been bookmarking all these places that I want to submit art to! Never intended to get involved. whee But it's nice, I haven't done art just for the sake of doing art in a long long time.
