Please read the below Rules and FAQ as most questions you have should be answered here. In the event of what you needing to know not being here or in any of the other posts made on the first page, then please feel free to ask.
"So, how does this entering business work?"
* Entries must be images of the characters listed here (as if you need to be told…)
* There is no limit to the number of times you may enter. So go nuts.
* All entries
must be submitted with a complete
Entrants Form (see
Post 5)
* Entries are preferred to be entered by posts here in the thread, but in cases of lack of hosting or other major malfunctions, we will accept them via email. In the event of needing to email me, please let me know via the thread or PM before emailing.
*For anyone needing hosting there is
Photobucket.com who allow direct linking and hosting (although with some file size limitations) or
DeviantArt which does not allow direct linking, but will allow a basic html link.
* Entires via email as attachments must be sent with a completed
Entrants Form included.
"Ah, so can I use old images? An image that isn’t mine maybe?"
* No recycling images from old competitions. All entries must be specific to this contest so no images from previous competitions, even if they resemble the characters.
*
All artwork submitted must be by you. Art-theft is of course a very serious issue. Anyone found submitting art that is not their own or does anything that can be highlighted as theft, etc. from another artist or website will be dealt with severely.
"Well this is all well and good, but my friend wants to enter, but isn’t on Gaia. So can I post her entry for him/her?"
* If you know anyone outside of Gaia wishing to enter, please do not post on their behalf. They can email me with their entries, again with the
Entrants Form completed with it (but the Gaian Username section will not apply). We will not accept any entries that are not created by the person submitting it.
*If your friend is not a member of Gaia, we have a similar competition in progress on DeviantArt, offering subscriptions and artwork as prizes, as an alternative to Gaia gold and items.
"Can me and a friend do a collaboration and enter?"
* If a collaboration is entered, everyone involved with the image must be listed on the
Entrants Form. I would hate for anyone not to be credited for their work.
"There are a lot of categories… Do I have to pick one to enter?"
* All images will be put into categories by me. So you need not think specific to the award guidelines, unless you specifically want to win that prize, in which case, make it as appropriate to the category as possible (ie best romance will need you to most likely draw a couple in a romantic pose or scene).
"So many prizes! How many can I win??"
* Each
image entered may only win
one prize. In the event the image is highest in more than one category, the bigger prize will of course be given. But an artist can win multiple prizes, so please, feel free to enter as many times as you like. Multiple images = more chance to win prizes.
"So what exactly are you two gonna do with all these entries? It is my work after all."
* Submitted entries will be later hosted on the Infusco site (once it exists) and will, of course, be fully credited. If you are not happy with this, I unfortunately have to recommend you do not enter.
* Anyone who wishes to add watermarks, please feel free to do so, but please make them as discreet as possible.
"Right, well I have this one picture, its so hot, the guy and the girl are --"
* Gaia has, of course, restrictions to mature content. Any images you produce that may break these rules, please send to myself or mango boo via a PM or email. These will still need the entry form submitted with them.

Hentai will not be accepted. Although we have categories for sexiest and romance, this does not mean we want images that are excessively sexual. n***s may be accepted, if done tastefully, but
any images that I don’t see as appropriate will not be accepted into the competition. (I would let mango help me choose these, but she lacks the morals for it… XD)
"I’m happy to enter, but I am worried what other people might say."
* If you do not want others to comment or critique your images when submitting, please say so.
* If someone has requested that no critiques or comments are made on their submitted entries, please respect this request.
* No flaming or trolling. Of any kind. Any problems you have with another person posting within the thread, please deal with elsewhere, preferably in private. Please keep all comments and critiques of entries and WIPs constructive and polite. Lets all play nice and support each other, ‘kay?
"Are WIPs allowed? I would love some feedback on my work, and there are some things I am a little unsure of… a little help maybe?"
* Feel free to submit WIPs (preferably in the thread) for critiques from us and other users, advice, if you want myself or mango boo to clarify something for you or to point out any errors you may have made, but bare in mind these will not be taken as entries into the competition.
All entries must be complete.
* The
Entrants Form is not required for WIPs, only for completed images to be classed as entires.
"Hey! Hey!! I posted like 15 times today and you aren’t here? Where did you go? Did you not get my PMs. Are you ignoring me? I have questions dammit! OMGWTFBBQ! Teh scam!!!111!!one!"
* Both myself and mango boo are studying at University, so its not always possible to be on here 24/7 and reply to every single post, but we will try our best, so please, bare with us and be patient.
* Please try and keep contacting myself and mango boo via PMs to a minimum. We will happily help anyone interested in the competition in any way we can, but we would both prefer to keep it within the thread. However, anything you deem really urgent and important may be directed to us through a PMs or even emails (in extreme cases).

"But!!! Its coming close to the deadline and I am not finished!! What do I do?"
* If by the end of the competition you haven’t completed an image, WIPs can be accepted and a small extension
may be granted to allow you to finish you entry, but please try to stick to the deadline, as we may not be able to extend it (and it is a little unfair on the other entrants).
"What’s your policy on bumping? Maybe some advertising? I am no artist, but I would love to help still!!"
* Bumping and Advertising is highly encouraged, so feel free to help us promote this competition and keep this place active, happy and full. We greatly appreciate it and there will be rewards (see
Bumpers and Advertisers Post 8)
