I finished some art work that I intended to enter but something has been bothering me and I wanted to be 100%.

I free handed the entire picture however I did use two reference pictures off google so I could have something to base the pose off of. I was wondering if that fell into the category of copying in your fourth rule.

Wolfie, I think that rule means, that you can not trace other poeple artwork -> you can not take just other people artwork and change some details....or for instance you can not take other poeple picture and use almost the samy poses.

However you can use photo stocks, to find the pose you are looking for smile

@the wolf girl: Tusia is correct; Referencing is fine. But paintovers, tracing, and eyeballing to the point that it can still be layed over like a trace are not. I included the last simply to cover my bases, because I've seen some rather obvious tracing that people claim is 'eyeballing' and refuse to admit that it's traced. rolleyes
