They do have but I never thought that it would be really important for the artwork.

The Queen is wise, always optimistic, knows what to do in every situation, kind-hearted, gentle
The King is very oppositional to her. He's stubborn, very hot-tempered, sometimes arrogant and not all that smart.
Lord Wuffel is a "wannabe-evil". He plays cool all the time and likes to show what kind of "bad boy" he is
Ehlenia is Lord Wuffels servant. She supports every evil plan he makes, but isn't really evil herself, she just loves Lord W. and would do everything for him. She's actually a cheery character.

lol , its important to me smile i need to know roughly how they are so i can try to project their personalities through the art and such - it just helps with the pic biggrin lol , for me anyway XD lol , i dislike doing just..happy/blank faces when it comes to someones characters

My characters aren't that "profound". I see how this would be important for something like a roleplaying characters, but my characters are just from my little shallow story, so I don't mind them having happy faces! (Well, Lord Wuffel should try to look evil somehow...).
I always hated it when I wanted to take part in a contest and ha dto read through walls of text to find out about their characters, so I thought I just focus on the most important stuff.

yeah mounds of details can be overwhelmign , but a general ..how they are is always good ^^ for me at least XD lol , it just helps the thinking process

That's completely up to you. I don't think "huuuge" pixel art looks good, but that's because I don't think I've ever seen anything bigger than the common pixel dolls. It's just important that it's made by you and you don't take some pre-made base.

No, it doesn't have to be digital art, but as I've said before - I want to use the art for my homepage so you have to be VERY good with traditional media if you want to make it look good and "clean".
