Those Behind the Scenes
This place is run primarily by Rvaya. She came up with the idea and tried to run it on her own for several months. Once it became clear she couldn't do it that way anymore she moved everything over here and now is looking for a few very responsible people who will help her maintain the Art Contest Listing for all you Gaians.

An avid art and art contest lover herself, Vilhelmina (who was formerly known as tealove) found this thread a great idea from the moment she first came across it. She now helps Rvaya update it, and will sometimes be the one behind the mule when it's out registering new contests. ninja Other than art, she loves tea, her characters, and long walks on the beach. xd (And, for good measure and inspired by the excellent idea of Neo - see below -, she will sign the messages she posts under the mule account with her username. c: )
Neobakeneko
Neobakekeko, or just plain Neo, has been interested in the art world since a child. Though she hasn't taken part in digital painting until recently, this past year. Entering contests left and right! Well she squealed with joy when she came across the ACL and is even more excited to now be one of the (wo)men behind the mask wink To help you out though, when using Art, she will always sign with "~Neo".

Hello fellow Gaians some of you may know me but I'll introduce mysef all the same. I am Rvaya. I am an artist here on Gaia and I have been here over 2 years. I have entered dozens of art contests on Gaia but I've always had a hard time remembering when they end and getting my entries done on time. Well the other day I missed out on entering a ton of contests and it really made me frustrated. Thus dawned my idea for this art contest listing.
The Purpose // __________________________________
Here I will be keeping the listing as update as possible to make it easier for you to find exactly what you need. This is going to help the artists keep on top of deadlines and not loose the contests and for the art contest host who always wants to interest the most people as they can.

How is this gonna work you might ask. Well I'll try to explain it as simply as I can. Since this is new I will be going through and trying to list these myself. I know I won't get them all so that's where you come in. If you find a contest that isn't listed use the form below and post in here so I can keep this as up to date as possible. But if for some reason you are running a contest and would not like to be listed please let me know because I will just be posting these at random.
