Personality : Protective. Level headed. Some would even say stern as if he couldn't take a joke to save his life. His men know differently. He know's when it's time to work and when it's time to play. In a relaxed setting he could easily be one of the most casual and friendly people you ever meet. Cross him when he's in business mode and things don't tend to go so good.
Clothing : Normally wears ripped t-shirts and other various scraps that are found laying about. The straps actually support a gun at the small of his back. He favor's colors of dull greens and browns to blend into the desert. (feel free to play with the design if you'd like. Think desert like clothing.)
Quirks : He is amazing with small blades. If there's a knife trick out there he either knows it, can do it, or can learn with little effort. His favorites are a butterfly knife and switch blade. Both of which he owns. He's not only good at blade tricks but also throwing them.
Extra : The leader of the gang. He's the one who made the decision to also hold their ground at the oasis that they found and build up a permanent home base around it. He is normally the voice of reason between the member's of his party and is the only reason why Faur is still around.

Personality : Quiet but observant. He tends to be the one who always had a strategy and is exceedingly good with numbers and logic. The go to guy for structure in various situations and planning no matter the task at hand. He's one to listen to issues and give advice, while also knowing when it's right to hold his tongue. He's also a bit of a klutz which the group has just kind of started to accept.
Clothing : He enjoy's clothing of soft tan's and various shades of white. He does own a legit pair of blue jeans which he tends to cherish and wear quite often that are normally form fit and tucked into his boots. For shirt's he enjoys loose flowing fabric to help fight the heat and pull over his head if need be in the middle of a sand storm. (You can play with the outfit design and colors)
Quirks : He's an artist of sorts. He has a sketch journal almost always on hand and has gotten very good at making his own drawing materials. He keeps track of everything on a daily basis by taking note of it in said book and is very good at drawing detailed sketches under a moment's notice.
Extra : Second in command. He's known for being very close with Thrice even if he is always messing up the man's alchemy equipment. He can't remember the last time he wasn't indebted to the guy for breaking vials with his clumsy acts. He doesn't trust the two newest member's and is always looking for the chance to out them as thieves or worse to be rid of them.

Personality : Sly, fox like. Very cunning and always looking for the upper hand in the situation. He is known for his quick reflexes and is one hell of a pick pocket. He is the more cut throat of any of his fellow members of the gang, however, he is also one of the most loyal and longest standing people between them. Doesn't matter how much money, fame, or other things that could be argued as valuable are offered to him, he wouldn't double cross those he sees as family or more.
Clothing : In spite of the heat, he likes to cover himself more than the other's. He doesn't like the sun on his skin as he tends to burn even through his tan and enjoy's a very loose almost bohemian or old Asian style of clothing. Some would call him stereotypical, if some in their time period could remember the history of the world long since gone. He prefers dark colors and does indeed avoid the sun like the plague where he can. (You can play with the style and colors as much as you'd like)
Quirks : The equivalence of a witch-doctor or apothicarian. He can make all sorts of poisons and remedies to even the strangest of ailments. He has learned how to grow plants even in the most dry of area's and is a collector of dried herbs as he never knows where they may come in handy.
Extra : Despite how long he's been around he is the third in charge of the group and despises Skrapz and Zipper with a passion. He doesn't understand why they are still around as they haven't assisted with much of anything and they are not tattooed to be members of the family. He is often seen very close at hand with Duo and there are rumors of them being much closer than they appear.

Personality : Very eager to prove his worth and normally the one to act without thinking or asking permission. He likes to have fun and push everyone else to lighten the ******** up and let up off of Skrapz and Zipper. Not too long ago Faur was the new member of the group and he remembers both Duce and Thrice being complete and total bastards to him and he really doesn't like watching them conspire against those who Baux seems keen on trying to let in. He's almost too trusting of the strangers that they know very little about. Then again, it could just be because they actually like to have fun on occasion which is something the group fricken needed. Overall he's the guy who's ready to have a good laugh, but perhaps not the best one to take head first into a situation unless you want him to be impulsive.
Clothing : Light and loose clothing, normally white in color to help with the heat. He like's hood's but tends to hate sleeves. Thankfully he has always tanned beautifully and very rarely has to worry about getting burned. Most of the fabric is crudly sewn together to make up his outfits and then attached to his person by straps to help keep out sand. Especially around the base of his leg's. His shoe's are normally cloth with very little 'soul' left. Honestly..they walk around on sand and smooth rock for the most part day in and day out. Who needs to worry about keeping their feet protected?
Quirks : One hell of a shot with a bow or a sling. Give him a ranged weapon and he can do wonders. He's also the guy who tends to do the majority of the heavy lifting in the group besides Baux, while the other two focus more on the intricate details and inner working of things.
Extra : He's known to be sleeping with Baux though no one will actually say it out loud. As if it would be the absolute worse thing to vocalize. Really no one really knows how either of the two of them would react if it was brought up. With Baux's sternness and Faur's unpredictability it's safer to just stay quiet about such things.

Hair Color : Dark green almost black in color and dreaded. Beads and charms are often found threaded into the thick strands.

Body type : Athletic
Skin Tone: A light African color almost. He's the darkest of the group. Not really black but definitely darker.
Tattoo: None
Personality : Obsessive and brash to the point of being rude. A collector and wanderer of sorts. He's the man who tends to run back and forth between town's and does a lot of of the scavenger type work for various bodies that he finds and unsuspecting sleeping traveler's that he may come across. He doesn't like his things being touched to the point of being a**l. He enjoy's a good laugh normally at another persons expense, and is a proper con artist. Open. Inviting. Friendly...and most defiantly out for himself.
Clothing : Loose and long light material. He also does have a mask that he uses quite often as he's riding his bird about the desert so he doesn't have to slow down and of course to protect his eyes. He prefers dull colors, but light one's at that because of that damn sun. He has two metal clips on both sides of his face that are actually attached to bone. He can attach the mask to these clips for extra support in the wind among other accessories of similar nature.
Quirks : A hoarder. Without question. He likes shiny and odd trinkets of the 'old world' and has several packs on his lovely and wonderful mount that are filled with things he is unable to part with and will most likely knife anyone for touching.
Extra : His skin is darker than most in color. He just tan's really deeply. He is the man who finds things in the desert to bring back to camp. Usually food, supplies, anything he can really get his hands on that the other's might be able to use. He is seen quite often with Zipper at his side as the guy was one of the many things he had found in the desert and ended up collecting along his travels.

Skin Tone: A light leather sort of brown. His skin is tougher to the touch and the animal attributes of his are even darker in color in the brown spectrum.
Tattoo: None
Personality : Aloof. Space Cadet like. Strange. He tends to talk of things that are almost dreamlike. Such as being able to speak with the sand and communicate with the sun. He suffers from what is known as 'desert death disease'. Basically it's where someone has been in the sun for far too long but instead of dying off they tend to just become loopy as hell. He still is able to understand people and manage for himself, however, it is almost as if he sees the world through eyes not of this world.
Clothing : Thigh high boots, pants, and a shall or shirtless are the most common. He does like belts but they tend to get int he way when he runs. Color's are normally mundane brown pastels as he doesn't like to stand out when he's trying to hide. (Feel free to play with this as you would like)
Quirks : He is a bit of an extremist when it comes to voodoo. Though it doesn't work really he does claim that it does and has a really bad habit of making dolls for anyone he ends up being around for longer than a few weeks just in case he needs to punish them. He also enjoy's running and is extremely fast being able to clock out at around thirty five to forty miles per hour if need be.
Extra : His skin is leathery and light in color as a normal caucasion's may be but it does have a few area's where it almost looks yellower than other's. His tail and ear's are dark brown in color and his ears fin like and 'posable'. He is a lizard cross breed which is most likely one of the only reasons he has lived as long as he has in the desert with very little resources. He loves to run and is normally a fabulous look out as he claims the sands tell him when people are approaching and when a storm is on it's way even if there are no physical or apparent signs to the other's.

☼ＷＯＲＬＤ ＩＮＦＯＲＭＡＴＩＯＮ ☼




This story takes place thousands of years in the future in a post apocalyptic setting where 90% of the planet is covered with desert terrain. Water is scarce and the majority of the human race has been stamped out. Radiation has led to other types of splices to come into existence as well as some outer world races coming into contact from other planets with minimal connection. Earth has nothing to offer and as such they show little desire to trade the barren empire. The planet was laid to waste by the four horsemen who by rumor it is said were called prematurely. Instead of purging the planet to start a new they destroyed her and she is now slowly dying out. They now walk among the remaining residence, called to the planet once more in an attempt to save her.

However, that is another part of the story that isn't apart of the rest of this so to give more of an insight on the planet...there are four main empires with small developments far and in between the kingdoms. There is the North (Home of the Government) which is highly industrious with tall sky scrapers and all sorts of advanced technologies. They house and home the means to create water from seemingly thin air using alchemy to feed their large populous. They rule in very strict rules. Everyone gets a set ration. Everyone works. Everyone contributes. To go against their laws means exile into the desert with barely the clothes on your back.

The South which is known as the last ocean which is more like a huge glorified lake next to a few small miles of farmland. They are also known as the party center. Beach bunnies and babes surrounding the shores of the open waters that is also home to various sea creatures and beasts that managed to escape when the horsemen road.

The West (Land of the Gypsies) which is farthest kingdom from the others is known for it's bohemian ways and it's not quite known how they manage to survive with little trade. They are known to be mystics. A small clan but they do have proven powers and abilities that no one can explain with science or alchemy. They can create without taking from anything which is a gift that no many accept with open arms for the fear of the unknown.

The East which is known for it's trade and collection of lost artifacts and technology. This is where all of your little droids and robot helpers come from as the majority of scientists and researchers live here looking for parts and the means to create their prototypes to be mass produced in the north.

The World is run by one standard government mostly controlled from the North. Police are actually their own sect that function more like mercenaries. They have a strict code they follow, however, anything outside of that they are free to do as they see fit. They got their job trusted on their judgement and as they come and go as they please they are hardly to be messed with. At any one time you can expect there to be maybe a hundred police at any given time in a kingdom and a few hundred more on the road. A very minimal number, all things considered.

Naga are a main threat when traveling. It is said that they cannot talk or understand speech and really that is their own personal game. They don't like people to know how smart they are. It's easier to be feared when folks don't believe you can be reasoned with. In truth they can all speak fluent common and their own language. They live in large balls, or family groups and are built to survive the desert. (And baux does have two different types of naga's he keeps as pets in cages in his home. ☼ＴＨＥ ＧＲＯＵＰ ☼




These guys are a handful of renegades. They are known for residing on the trail from the south to the Eastern City where they tend to gather up what they need and only what they need from those who happen to pass by. Recently they accidentally stumbled upon an alcove under hardened and thick glass that has a very large underground trail of tunnels to it. That being fascinating enough, the bigger draw is the fact that there is water. A lot of it. Baux made the decision to settle down near it and they are constantly fighting to keep other people off of their turf and from finding out about it while also being locked in one hell of a war with local naga that say they had breeding ground claims to the caverns.

Along the inside of the caverns they have built in the basics to an entire underground city and set up defenses around the entrance to let them know if someone is drawing near or has entered their home including net traps and some rather more dangerous Indiana Jones like contraptions. Long term plans are to create their own trading outpost and actually attempt to make honest lives of themselves and bring in more people to thrive along side. If they can ever get over themselves this may be a viable option...in the mean time it's almost laughable.

The group started with six people. It dwindled down to three and then the group found Faur roaming around. They have this very strict thing with not giving away their real names as upon joining the group you automatically are giving up your old and outside life to become apart of the family.

Skraps and Zipper are basically on a trail basis. They haven't asked to join the family but they do have very keen skills that assist greatly with keeping the group safe and protect their new found home. As you can guess, the oldest members don't like them very much but Baux is rather open minded when it comes to potential new members.

That is the lightest general overview I think I can give. I hope it gives a stronger feel to the way the world is and works. If you have questions please feel free to ask! I have a lot more information for it in my head it just isn't all typed up.

☼ＴＨＥ ＯＡＳＩＳ ＡＬＣＯＶＥ ☼




Size Reference


The alcove is pretty damn massive. It only has the one entrance and the water does pool in the front of it a little bit into something of a shallow sink hole that will swallow you up to about your waist. There are sand stone paths all around the inside of the alcove and some areas that go back as far as 100 feet of nothing but beach. There are stone and glass pillars in the middle that go up to the glassy top that sometimes allows random amounts of light to shine through in certain area's before being covered up again. This never fully uncovers simply due to the way that the wind blows around the structure. There are trees in the water and vines fall down from them. They are in the deepest sections of the 'lake' and there are more of them than I have depicted below. They are also HUGE in diameter and several odd birds and creatures live in them.

Along the walls is where they have built their buildings and homes. There is also a small cave system near the back that has been worked at to also create their main living quarters where they have built in beds and other forms of furniture.

The water is clean and clear however, there are areas where you cannot see the bottom due to poor lighting.

The Size Reference above is a very crude reference that I did up. The person in front I hope helps with showing how wide the cave entrance is. There is also a very small version of the same figure in the background on the right hand side in the lighter area to show how big the inside is as well (I hope).

Over-all you can go nuts with the scenary of it. It's basically a large mostly underground oasis with weird exotic animals. Take that and run. If you have more questions about the alcove please ask!

→Baux

✗ Faur:: Romantic. The type of romance that goes without saying. They can on occation be seen brushing shoulders or found curled up together in secret behind closed doors but most of the time they just seem to act like best friends. A brush of the arm or a hand on the shoulder lingering for far too long is normally a huge deal between them, speaking volumes without saying much at all. They are almost a 'bear' couple, lacking the whole flamboyant side of things.

✗Duce:: Best Friend. Battle strategy and defense partner. Basically Baux's personal counselor as well when it comes to Faur and how to handle the two newest members of the group. Really the one that Baux tends to confide in most.

✗Thrice:: Neutral Friend. Really they talk about business most of the time, or the other group members like gossipy women. Thrice is extremely opinionated but also calculates what he says to try to steer people into thinking the way he wants them too. Baux, however, is fully aware of this and pretty good about cornering him into getting down to his point.

✗Skrapz:: Friendly, though not quite to the friend level. Baux spends a lot of his time defending both Skrapz and Zipper to the rest of the group. He likes them around for their more diverse personalities and they do accomplish quite the service to assist them in remaining hidden as well as bringing back supplies that the group would have more issues finding. He is often reluctant to talk about the fact that they aren't true member's of the family yet because he is tired of forcing people into the family when they may or may not want to be. Regardless, Baux will defend that they are a good help the majority of the time as they haven't ever done anything to harm them.

✗Zipper:: Baux finds Zipper to be amusing, childlike, and has this odd sensation and need to protect him. He often treats the guy like a kid and will be more selective of the tasks that he offers or asks of him for this reason. Zipper's aloofness and child like manner is a bit of a soft spot for Baux and he tends to find him fascinating more than anything most of the time.


→Duce

✗Thrice :: Romantic. The type of romance where they end up fighting before Thrice feels bad for lashing out at Duce and has to back peddle and make it up to him one way or another. They publicly are together, mostly because Thrice isn't good at hiding something such as this, being something he's proud of. Duce tends to get embarrassed easily but doesn't have too much of an issue with the public displays that they belong with one another.

✗Baux :: Best friend, though he did have one hell of a crush on the guy for a while. For a long, while. Duce and Baux are the two longest lasting members of the original group. He also plays counselor and adviser a lot of the time being the second in command.

✗Faur :: Brotherly. Duce hasn't ever really felt the need to hate on Faur too badly. Though, when Faur first joined it was like Thrice and Duce couldn't stop picking on him or calling him names. Critiquing how he did every little thing and so on. That tough gruff sort of feel because they really did just want the b*****d to leave. Then Faur joined the group under Baux's wing and the two of them had to warm up to their newest family member. The big kicker really was a time where Faur saved Duce from a ball of naga that were dangerously close to killing and consuming him. Faur had gutted the damn things and scared the rest off. Since then they're simply the best of bro's even if Thrice is still irritable about it.

✗Skrapz :: He hates him. The guy is a threat and a terror to the camp. He's lazy, and a**l about his things not being 'touched'. It's weird, and always feels like the guy is hiding something. Not the best thing when they are all suppose to be working together on this city. He will often make snide comments about how they refuse to be one of them and that it was only a matter of time before they took off or betrayed them. Duce isn't normally the type to be so openly poisonous but his boyfriend tends to effect that quite often.

✗Zipper:: He isn't really open to the concept of being friends, but Zipper himself tends to be just strange enough to defuse any desire to really hate him or be overly cruel without feeling bad. Not to mention the fact that any rude comments you make about him he normally doesn't even realize that you're talking bad about him or trying to be nasty. Not really friendly, but not really able to be overly cruel to him either. That said, he tends to go hand in hand with Skrapz so when he is frustrated with zipper he tends to just take it out all the more on his partner in crime.


→Thrice

✗Duce::Romantic. The type of romance where they end up fighting before Thrice feels bad for lashing out at Duce and has to back peddle and make it up to him one way or another. ✗Baux :: Neutral Friend. Really they talk about business most of the time, or the other group members like gossipy women. Thrice is extremely opinionated but also calculates what he says to try to steer people into thinking the way he wants them too. Baux, however, is fully aware of this and pretty good about cornering him into getting down to his point.

✗Faur :: Neutral. He's pretty irritable towards him. Though, he tends to be pretty irritable towards everyone. Faur is just like that jock that the smart kid wants to ignore and snub for all of eternity. He is really only friendly to him on occasion because of Duce and even then he can be pretty nasty as the guy is so sparatic and unpredictable that it ******** with his chi.

✗Skrapz :: Utter hatred and distrust. He is looking for any reason to go to Baux and tell him all of the reasons why they need to either kill or get rid of both Skrapz and Zipper. He is openly dismissive of them and is quick to assume the absolute worse no matter the circumstances. Guilty forever until proven innocent beyond any reasonable or unreasonable doubt on small and large issues and matters.

✗Zipper :: He hates him. He doesn't care how cute he is. He doesn't care that he doesn't understand most situations or how to completely interact with other's like a normal human being. He doesn't care. He knows that the guy is old enough to make his own decisions and that in and of itself makes it so he can't be trusted. After all, the guy decided to stick around with Skrapz of all people. Definatly not to be trusted.


→Faur

✗Baux:: Romantic. The type of romance that goes without saying. They can on occation be seen brushing shoulders or found curled up together in secret behind closed doors but most of the time they just seem to act like best friends. A brush of the arm or a hand on the shoulder lingering for far too long is normally a huge deal between them, speaking volumes without saying much at all. They are almost a 'bear' couple, lacking the whole flamboyant side of things.

✗Duce:: Brotherly. After basically saving the guy's life from the naga they are in part insperable. He unknowingly fell in love with Duce's crush before they really got close as friends and there was that whole hate thing for a while before the actual rescue but in the end they're still really close and Duce doesn't seem to hold it all that much against him.

✗Thrice:: Neutral. Well, neutral in the sense that Thrice is really fun to irritate and he does things half the time just to piss the guy off in some way or another. Sure he gets shlack from Duce for upsetting his lover, but that usually isn't enough for him to stop in his antics.

✗Skrapz:: Best friends. They just clicked and are completely all over just doing the dumbest s**t together. They make one hell of a duo and are normally behind any situation that goes wrong or any prank that goes too far. They tend to do all of the dumb bar s**t too such as playing dumb dare games and pull off really unreasonable stunts around the base including setting off traps to 'see' if they can avoid being hurt. Their IQ basically drops when they get going with one another.

✗Zipper::Friendly. Really he thinks he's adorable and almost like one of those puppies that stick around and just don't know when to ******** off so you end up falling in love with it and feeding it every night. Yea. That's what zipper is to him. He'll often be found petting him on the head or playing the odd games that Zipper tends to come up with. He also helps him make his voodoo dolls when he's having trouble either making something work or finding the materials for them.


→Skrapz

✗Zipper :: Romantically involved. Romantically in the sense that they are both really really strange with one another and he literally found the guy wandering around in the sun near death babbling incoherently. Or he had thought that he was speaking incoherently. After getting the guy some water he learned that the guy actually just suffered from sun sickness and had been crafted into what he was. He spoke oddly, like he was one with the desert without seeming to be insane. To try to explain it in full is impossible but in the end...they ended up being really close, almost like they were attached at the hip. They found this group together as well and have been assisting them ever since. Their relationship is almost high-school like in the sense that they tend to be very public about their feelings and Zipper is most likely overly clingy and touchy.

✗Baux :: Neutral. He tends to get along with Baux for the most part and thinks they have a decent arrangement in trade. They have a mutual agreement and have a form of uncanny trust most of the time where they just know that the other wont let anything bad really happen despite how the crew reacts.

✗Duce :: Not at all great. The guy basically seems to think that Skrapz is out to hurt his family and destroy things for them...or sell them out. Something bad or awful. Really, he just doesn't like the idea of tieing himself down which is the whole reason that he hasn't joined the gang yet in full or allowed Zipper to do. He doesn't really defend himself though when Duce or Thrice start in on him. It's normally met with an eye roll or a snide comment back about something unrelated to the topic. Like Duce and Thrice having problems in their bed roll, or other off handed remarks to segway inappropriately.

✗Thrice:: Enemy. They hate each other. Enough said. They will fight and throw things and brawl often. He does't like him and doesn't ever expect Thrice to like him in return. It's really like they have just stopped trying, probably because they have.

✗Skrapz :: Joined. He talks about Skrapz as if he has a mental hook up to the guy's brain and that he can sense everything about him. He knows that they are very close and exclusive to one another and is aware that they are dating even if that isn't what he would ever refer to it as.

✗Baux :: He calls him Sun Bringer. He knows that Baux is the leader and also someone he can trust to keep him safe if need be. He knows that the guy finds him to be childlike which does puzzle him often as others are given dangerous or difficult tasks and he's normally asked to carry cantines or paint. He doesn't mind though and more or less thinks the man is interesting.

✗Duce :: He calls him Creator. He is often amazed and fascinated by the way that Duce has the ability to draw and capture likeness of things on paper for those things of the world. He seems to think that Duce has this ability to create things by drawing them and thus they are brought into existence. Duce normally counters this belief by telling him that his abilities are limited and he can only create certain things at certain times. It at least stops Zipper from asking him to create him new clothes or specific food.

✗Thrice:: He calls him Dark Keep. The man always seems to be in a foul mood and he believes it's because the darkness has consumed him and he is with a constant struggle to keep himself from it's grasp entirely to harm all of his friends. He is often forgiving of the man's anger towards him and Skrapz for this reason believing that he simply cannot help it.

✗Faur:: He calls him Targeter. Mostly becuase the guy doesn't seem to miss no matter what sort of projectile he's working with. Zipper is convinced that the man is a robot and can lock onto targets far away. It's also nice because the guy is sweet to him and robots always like him.

Judging Criteria

→ Judges

PhoxTanks :: Owner of the characters Thrice, Faur, and Zipper. She is also the cohost of this contest and has been drawing for over twelve years, six of which have been professionally driven. She specializes in creative world and character design and has been role playing for ten years. This will be the third contest that she has co-hosted and funded as well as it being the fifth contest she has been on staff for.

Flagritriba :: Owner of the characters Baux, Duce, and Skrapz as well as co host of the contest as a whole. Flagritriba has been a world concept, story writer, and advid roleplayer for over 10 years as well as an art whore for about five. This will be the third art contest that he has cohosted and judged for.

Tuberculoid :: Where as he isn't really active on Gaia Online, he is quite active and familiar with the other two judges. He is a semi-professional gamer and a music musician in the MLP community. Tuberculoid has been an art critic for several years as a hobbiest and will be assisting in this contest with judging at the end. He is our outside source to also help look at just art and help make sure there is no set bias towards persons we have in thread and keep us honest.


→ Criteria

Quality :: Composition, anatomy, accuracy, perspective, details. We would prefer one high effort piece to fifty half assed entries. Take your time and have fun with it and be sure to ask questions and take advantage of the WIP criticism and feedback offered by the judges!

Characterization :: How well the piece captures the character(s) drawn. Does it look like them? Is the personality correct? Does the art truly depict them 100%? This is what we are looking for. Pay attention to quirks or hobbies, their relationships with other characters for scenes, the area and the world they live in.

Style :: We generally adore all art styles so long as they depict our characters for who they are. Be it high anime, realism, semi-realism, or a western hybred cross breed. We genuinely love all types of art and will not discriminate when it comes to your style. That said. Having a style doesn't excuse you from drawing things incorrectly either. There is a huge difference between having your own style and not knowing what you are doing and when it comes down to it most people can tell the difference. A great article to read about this that helped even me out was "Understanding Your Style" by whitetrashpalace on DA. I will say this, none of us are huge fans of chibi art. We like it, but it takes a really good chibi artist to sell us on it.

Medium :: Traditional, digital, elbow noodles, glitter, we don't care so long as it can be scanned in clean. This is a drawing contest after all and where as we are very familiar that there are many forms of artwork this contest is only for the drawing aspect. We will not frown upon various ways to do drawing in various mediums and would love to see what you have to bring to the table. No photos of artwork though unless they can be taken in high quality as described in the rules for traditional work.

→I offer it to everyone, you can PM me your WIPS for constructive feedback. I will not give full feedback in the thread as I do not feel it's right to give constructive critisizm or suggestions in front of others. As an artist myself I will never claim to know everything about art or other various styles but I will give tips and trick suggestions on things that I spot that may be off to help you out.

→If you send me a WIP in a PM expect critism. I'm pretty good about giving it kindly but I will be looking at all aspects of the piece as well as how well it compares to the characters in question. I offer this as an option to help you in this contest, not to hurt your feelings!

→Duce breaking Thrice's Vials and lab equipment.

→Thrice working with chemicals in his tent or finding desert flowers/plants.

→Baux on watch of playing with knives.

→Baux whittling, or building things for the new 'city'.

→Faur making arrows or on look out.

→Faur shooting a bow at naga or other fantasy wildlife.

→Faur palling around with Baux. (couple or frand like) (or any of the romantically or frand linked characters this way)

→Enemy art is always fun too. Drawing naga's fighting with the group or a member or even the internal relationships where they struggle and fight among one another.

→Skrapz riding his bird or petting her/ taking care of her.

→Skrapz looking through his bag with a collection of weird and strange things he's collected and gathered from the 'old world' strung around him.

→Zipper just being aloof and adorable. Looking like he's not really seeing what we see.

→Zipper playing with voodoo dolls peeved about something.

→Duce drawing or sketching scenes or people

→Thrice practicing or playing with explosives or setting traps.
