Oh this contest runs for nearly a whole year?
That seems way too long! eek
Anyway, so I guess I'll stick around at first, 3nodding ...
I really fell in love with the character Kisara Bastion. Is there more of her story somewhere? It is so addictive to read her bio. :" wink

And is the grand prize to be given out in any case, or is there some prerequisite?
Because if I take part I want to go for the first places of course! 4laugh

It is a bit long yes. I've had this item for almost 5 years. It's hard to part with it so soon. But I really want to get the word out. Plus it is not nearly as long as my last contest. Which was for a Halo and lasted 14 month (Mostly due to the fact I was stranded because of Katrina)

While I love Kisara, I have never had a chance to expand her story. Once she is killed by her father and revived I hit a road block. ^^' I might hire a writer to help me finish it though.

Right now I am trying to develop and nice fair way of judging. By getting a panel of judges and and scoring each entry. High scores will be pushed to a second round, and looked over very carefully about detailing, coloring ect ...

This is one of my plans. I want to ask a few of the other veteran contest runnings how they do it. Maybe there might be simpler way.

Don't know if I ever will, - and if so - then only for art too - And not so lightly either.
But I joined in september '03, so I missed the really great items like the halo or the rose.

Do you have the URL of the former contest? I would so like to take a look at it and its entries, - if you dont mind to look it up of course. 3nodding
It really sounds interesting.


Although her story isn't expanded, I might try to draw an atmospheric picture for her later on in that year if I dont forget.
*squeaks out of enthusiasm* twisted I especially love the revived scene... That could be a lot of fun to draw. : )


Well I guess to judge the entries isn't that much of a work, but probably a really fun part for you at the end of the contest. : )

A simpler way? Well *giggles* twisted As long as you don't dice, but let your taste decide, and as long as you can see which effort has flow into which picture we cannot complain...


And heh really curious - How many entries do you expect? I mean, the contest is going to run for a whole year! eek

Are all those dolls, dolls which you own in reallife? surprised I don't even have any doll at all. *smirks* But I would really like and already plan to add some decorative dark ones to sit in corners of my room some day, that seems quite neat! : )

I checked the link on your thread and I have to say, your artwork is amazing. I love the details on your figures and the way you shade. (I'm) quite happy that you know your anatomy too. <3
