I am just beginning to learn how to draw, so its not a masterpiece but I was wondering where I could improve. I am trying to develop a western cartoon style. Please be kind.

Hi! This is a great start!

Your best bet is to learn to draw realistically to begin with, then you can start slapping your style on however you like. Style is nothing without substance. It's probably not going to be fun to begin with, but once you start to connect with what you're drawing you will grow to love it. Draw from life and photos and occasionally from cartoons you enjoy (just to spice it up!) and have fun learning about drawing and how it works.
