PLEASE HELP!!! critiques

so ive been on gaia for a while and my art isnt the best by far but i do think they are pretty good but
for some reason i always get bad reviews in the arena so if anyone could give me any pointers, reasons and so on...

heres some of my pieces and some descriptions of each


avi art for a couple (srry no ref pics) and a girl i met on gaia who wanted a pick of her in a school uniform infront of her school (it was a cheap request so there wasnt a lot of detail in it.

old unfinished pic of trafalgar law from onepiece vs new finished version (i know his face is funny ive never been good at drawing guys but as you can see between the two i have gotten way better).

these are some of my 1 hour drawings the first is what my kuro gang character(from gaias manga) would look like, and a sailor moon oc (arora borealis).

and this is a progress set of a drawing i did of sexy pesche from bleach ( i got the idea from an entry in the arena of a humanized version of pesche)

some random avi art.

and lastly a newer pic of two of my ocs from my new comic im creating, right now its just flat color but i will be shading it soon.


please give me some tips and pointers and rate and comment my arena pieces if youd like itd be greatly apreciated.

partially on the old sailor arora pic (really old before i knew your not allowed to use bases), but either than that just refrence pics for the kuro girl but only for style cus your not suposed use bases, especially on gaia.

No no, I mean the one below that!

The pieces are pretty inconsistent in some parts.

Though honestly, you seem to have what my friend likes to call "Shiny syndrome." You overuse the white dots to make everything shiny, which after a point, just stops looking like it's thought out and more of a dis tractor honestly. Work on your lineweight and shading values, they're a bit lacking. For shadows, not everything has to be soft blended. Real life has hard shadows too which can combine with soft blending for nice effects. The same could be said for highlights.
