why are the candles floating?

Thank you! And honestly, I was at a loss for what to do with the background. Originally the candles were going to be on stands, but I managed to completely forget to add in the stands, so let's just chalk it up to magic. n____n;;

It was my first fully detailed background, so I'll take my mistakes from this piece and work on making better backgrounds in the future <3

Admittedly I wanted them to be very sheer and only kind of show, but my boyfriend insisted I make little texture marks and they're an eyesore for me, as well.

Buut lesson learned and I'll improve next time! <3
