Help critique WiP cutesy picture?

I'm trying to draw something for my little sister's birthday but... this cat's face looks wrong no matter what I try to do to it. Anyone wanna offer redlines or tips? I'd really appreciate them

so, i'm not great at drawing cats so i looked up a picture of a cat in a similar pose and went from there. this isn't perfect, but it may help...
