the first image is unavailable but from what i can see you like to draw landscapes?

you use very bright and vivid colours which are great!

here are a few pointers with colours:

at the moment you seem to only be using the vertical colours on the right hand side, try to use this colours in the spectrum i have circled, it gives the picture a better feel to it.


to bring the colours to life, you need to use more than one of a certain colour:

on this sphere, the main colour is more of a pea green.
for the highlights i chose a a warmer, more yellow green and for the shadows i chose a colder blurs green
if you can become accustomed to using colours like this, it will help you improve fast



I'm impressed that you've started drawing without outlines (huge black lines around everything is how lots of people usually start) it takes a long time to grow out of doing that an it's good you've already started drawing landscapes without outlines!

if i could advise you to do anything, i would say keep drawing
don't stop practising, but branch out into different things. figure drawing is great and you can draw avatars whilst practising

Thanks I'm going to try all of these things. I'm horrible at drawing people and avatars ( I've been trying that for the last 8 years and I haven't improved even trying a lot of diffrent techniques this appears to be the only thing I'm good at. ) but I will work on everything thanks <3

Thanks I'm going to try all of these things. I'm horrible at drawing people and avatars ( I've been trying that for the last 8 years and I haven't improved even trying a lot of diffrent techniques this appears to be the only thing I'm good at. ) but I will work on everything thanks <3

have you tried copy drawing?
i used to copy figures from animes/mangas until i could draw my own things
it takes a long time to improve but it's well worth it.


This was me 4 years ago, i copied it from a touhou music video
all of the appendages are too long and thin, the torso is too long, the face is wonky, the shading is bad. It was a rubbish drawing but it started to help me understand
This was me february earlier this year

there is hope man, you just gotta keep trying

I use computer its hard for me to properly draw people with out my hand doing weird things.
I will try for you D:< you have inspired me.

this is my pencil stuff which is 1000x better but I'm just really lazy to have to take it to the copy thing.
