Out of curiousity, has anyone here read "Twilight" by Stephanie Meyer? I am on the second book, "New Moon," and Bella (roomie) and I are going to the coming out party for the 4th and final book in the series on Aug 1st. (We hope to both be done with bok 3 by then - she is half done and they are easy reads, especially when you have no internet.)

I got a random Facebook request today from someone with my name. Good idea!! Everyone with my name should be friends and then we should go on vacation together and really confuse the security dudes.

A guy from Wales friended me on Facebook because we have the same last name. He seemed shocked, but I heard that Scotland at least was crawling with Coburns.

You'd have to book a city center to house all the people with your name. I was messing around with that meme that uses the US census or something and there are over 300 of you. Yugao has less of her if I use your last name which got me to thinking that they should do a sequel to the meme that uses married couples who both parties have the same name as another couple. I think that vacation would be even more fun!

That's the series they're making a movie out of that has Cedric Diggory in it, right? Vampire-themed? I saw a trailer ahead of WALL E. The books seem pretty popular around gaia.

My name is pretty common. I dropped a piece of paper with my name on it in an airport once and they called my up to the desk. Another guy with my name had come up too and it turned out he was on the same flight as me. WTF!

Indeed! I love it. I have been doing all kinds of reading on writing technique, dos & don'ts, etc, and these books fit the profile to a T! It's really quite amazing. And inspiring.

According to that website, it is unlikely that anyone in the US has my name. Including me, apparently. lol I actually know of another girl with my name. She was a couple years ahead of me at Western, but she spelled her name Chris rather than my Crys, so she came before me in the alphabet. We had the same department councilor, and when I went to declare my major, she pulled the other girl's file and started erasing everything (because they actually had these things in a drawer written in pencil rather than in a computer apparently), puzzling over how my file could have been filled out when I had never visited her office before. rolleyes

domokun Here's my first go at inked lines for the Eda pic. I already did some experimental colouring in Photoshop with the sketch but this is the line art I'm gonna use for the final version.

I bet as soon as I post this I'll notice an egregious error somewhere. I mean, apart from having done a crappy job of inking. Yay for Photoshop letting me fix my crappy work after the fact. sweatdrop
