so i called the apartment place again and the woman said "yes, i got your message and i was going to call you back before i leave tonight. ok?" then i said "ok, thanks." and she hung up. is that weird? that's weird, right?

I heard about that at least a year ago and I think it's a horrible, horrible idea. A live-action Avatar in general is just stupid, since the good animation is a huge part of what drew people to the show in the first place.

I don't think it would be so bad as long as they have good special effects. If not, that big animal that they ride around on could be pretty comical. rofl

Shamalam is a weird choice of director for an Avatar movie. Seems like you'd want someone who can balance the action scenes with light-hearted stuff... not make it unintentionally hilarious. I'm thinking of Signs here.

Hmm, that reminds me of Resident Evil 4. You know the scene where Leon and Ashley are sandwiched so they run into that cabin and have to fight off hoards of villagers? I just thought about this, but didn't a bunch of them have torches? Why didn't they just set the building on fire?

That's true....But I was thinking that when they started to get smoked they'd try to escape the cabin, and the zombies would have the place surrounded. It would be easy to get her then.

I think a live-action Avatar could be ok. I mean... compare Appa to say, the luck dragon in Neverending Story. If the child actors don't suck I'd be ok with it.
