Welcome to my art auction! The auction is now OVER! Please do not make posts in this thread.

I decided to do this art auction because a lot of people seem interested in my art at the moment because it was used in Eyria's featured profile. Unfortunately, I can't do art for everyone and opening an art shop here on Gaia isn't an option for me right now. Feel free to stop in, chat, and maybe even place a bid or two.

Please read the rules carefully.
I will not accept bids from anyone failing to follow the rules.

I will only do art for the auction winner!
Please don't ask me to draw you because you can't afford to bid.

1. Do not use my art without permission! This is theft! Always ask for an artist's permission before using his/her work.
2. Do not beg for freebies. I may do free art for thread regulars, but I will definitely not do art for those who ask or "hint" that they want it.
3. Only place bids with gold/items you have on you. Bid retractions are not permitted.
4. Only bid within the thread. Bids made through PMs will be ignored.
5. Don't do anything that violates Gaia's general Rules and Guidelines.
6. Anti-snipe rule is in effect. Auction will continue for an additional ten minutes following last minute bids.
7. I reserve the right to refuse bids from anyone. Please be prepared to prove that you are able to make a serious bid if asked.

WHAT TO DO IF YOU ARE THE AUCTION WINNER
1. Send me a PM with a detailed description of what you want drawn.
In this PM, please also provide all reference images I will need to draw your picture.
2. Start a trade with me for the amount of your winning bid ASAP. I will NOT draw your picture if you do not start this trade.
3. When I'm done with the art, I will send you a small, low-resolution, watermarked image via PM, and complete my end of the trade.
4. Now you complete your end of the trade. I will not send you the non-watermarked, high-quality image if you do not finish this trade.
5. When I see the trade is complete, I will send you the non-watermarked picture.

These rules are in place to protect both me, the artist, and you, the bidder, from being scammed, cheated or ripped off.

- F A Q -

Q. I only have x amount. Will you draw me?
A. No. I'm sorry to be a b***h about this, but I have said a number of times that I will only draw for the auction winner. I don't want to devote all my time to drawing more than that.

Q. How long does it take you to draw?
A. It depends on the complexity of the piece, of course, but it takes several hours.
I take most of my finished works very seriously. If I don't put my usual effort into a piece, it's usually pretty easy to tell. I always want to get better at drawing so I try to learn something new with each piece.

Q. How do you draw like that?
A. My art goes through many stages before it becomes what you see me uploading onto deviantArt. I start out by doing several small thumbnail sketches. Once I am able to get the pose looking the way I want it, I start blocking out the real sketch.

This little chart does a pretty good job of explaining the rest of the basics:



I use Photoshop CS2 for coloring.
